Superb lunch experience. Pappardelle ragu with boar was presented very well and tasted great. Wine suggestions were perfect. Sitting outside with a view of the square makes the entire experience very "Italian". The staff was great and the older waiter was hilarious (and truly professional). Might be back for dinner here since the meals I saw all looked great.

Prices are average considering the location and the quality of the restaurant. Another plus is the attention to those with special needs: in addition to vegetarian dishes, there are thoughtful vegan options. We travel to Europe every year. The food in this restaurant is one of best we ever had. I had the five course meat menu, the meat was cooked perfectly. I love porcini mushrooms, pasta cooked just right. It was comparable with the best restaurant in Paris😊

We were warmly welcomed by Domenico and very well attended to by him and Roberto. There were seven of us, and they seated us at a beautiful table overlooking the square. The facilities are very pleasant, with precious details that are truly admirable, the restroom is in good condition, and the outdoor area is covered and cool. The wine list has a good variety; we ordered a Sancerre. The dishes were well-served, well-presented, and delicious. We ordered pasta with ragu sauce, mushroom risotto, and ossobuco. We were satisfied; everything went very well for the family. Domenico and Roberto's service made all the difference; they were kind and attentive. We were skeptical after reading some reviews, but we still decided to go ahead with the reservation. We recommend them.

Located in Arezzo's most beautiful square, we were surprised by the excellent and exceptional cuisine last Tuesday. Even the appetizer of salmon salad with lemon cream and fruit was delicious. The second course included sea bass with a delicious ginger foam. And the pan-fried tuna steak with sesame and several extraordinarily delicious and unusual sauces and creams was a real treat. For coffee, you can choose from various specialties. Even the house coffee was so delicious that my husband ordered a second one. The service was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable. Thank you. Passion and professionalism can be found everywhere here, and the name "Essenza" is fitting.

Domenico provided excellent service to us and our baby. They even split the dishes for us to share!

A little more expensive than the other restaurants, but the location is great.

Went for a Bistecca alla Fiorentina and it was an amazing experience! From order to finish I felt like in a very luxurious place! Stuff was very professional, explained everything well. The food was amazing! I heard that they have the best steaks in Arezzo and I think that it is true!

Speravo di trovare una cucina più tradizionale, ma il posto dove si trova, proprio sotto le Logge del Vasari su Piazza Grande ha probabilmente obbligato ad una scelta più turistica. Nonostante questo abbiamo mangiato molto bene: ottime pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale e gustosi pici al ragù di anatra. Prezzi un po' sopra la media ma ci sta visto il posto.
