After a mix-up with the reservation, the owner proved to be very professional and helpful in solving the problem. The food was excellent, and the young maître d' provided impeccable service. A truly beautiful location. Recommended.

A very positive experience, definitely worth repeating. We had lunch today at this lovely restaurant, where we were greeted with great warmth. The service was impeccable, as were every course. The menu items are varied and refined, without ever being banal. Compliments to the chef and all the staff (especially the maitre d', who was very professional).

We had dinner on New Year's Eve with my wife and children. I really appreciated the menu choices. The first courses, in particular, were wonderful. The lobster caps were of the highest quality and tasted incredibly delicate, the service was very attentive, and the view of the square was excellent, where you can eat well even in winter.

FANTASTIC DINNER
We ate in a small but very charming indoor dining room, and were greeted by kind and very knowledgeable staff. And what can I say about the food? The best pasta I've ever eaten and a fantastic Florentine steak.

Dinner was decided at the last minute, and they seated us right away. A table under the loggias, even though it was winter, was comfortable with the heating. How did they manage to take my specific order, considering my allergies, including celiac disease and lactose, mushrooms, and blue cheeses? Choosing from the menu, I asked for grilled octopus. The waiter immediately told us that everything was cooked separately. A rarity, even today in Italy. Excellent food; it was truly exceptional, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was excellent. A more than positive experience, and above all, safe for my allergies. Congratulations, truly.

On December 23rd, my daughter and I dined at the Essenza restaurant for our first Florentine steak experience, and were more than satisfied with the hospitality and service. I thank Domenico for making us feel better than at home, and also the rest of the staff who welcomed us so graciously. To conclude our brief Tuscan experience in Arezzo, on December 24th we had lunch at Essenza again (it's best not to change, since the first course was so good), where we chose two traditional first courses. The chef offered us panforte, a typical Tuscan dessert similar to nougat but very spicy with cinnamon and orange—unique! The gift to take back to Rome was certainly a given. Thanks again for the wonderful experience. ps. Next time we'll come with our family chef, who misses out on many of these experiences due to work.

I dined at this restaurant in Arezzo on Saturday evening and it was a truly excellent experience. I ate a delicious tagliata (a thin slice of beef) preceded by a truly high-quality prosciutto.
What struck me most was the attention, professionalism, and kindness of the staff toward my celiac disease: a rare level of care. While other diners were sampling the oil with bread, I was served bagged gluten-free bread and crackers, with great care and respect. They also avoided baking them to avoid any risk of cross-contamination.
I finally felt at ease, welcomed, and pampered, not to mention having eaten wonderfully. I highly recommend this place, especially to those with special dietary needs.
