A very disappointing experience at the DanielCanzian restaurant. I had booked about a month in advance, communicating my severe allergies to fish and hazelnuts in extremely clear and detailed terms. For this reason, I expected attention, organization, and, above all, coordination between the dining room and kitchen. Unfortunately, the exact opposite happened. Once I was seated at my table, the waiter proved completely unaware of my allergies. When I mentioned them, he knew nothing about them and had to go and inform the chef with a note written on the spot. This was truly worrying, considering these were serious allergies, communicated well in advance. The chef, evidently uninformed, hadn't prepared any real alternatives, so much so that some dishes didn't even arrive and were simply skipped over. Even the planned aperitif was cancelled due to the management of my allergies, but no suitable alternative was offered. Furthermore, I noticed a different attitude toward me compared to other customers seated at the bar, likely due to my age. Being younger, the staff was decidedly colder and more distant in their attitude, while at other tables the attention seemed different. The most unpleasant part came at the end of the dinner. When we asked for coffee, the staff invited us to choose digestifs directly from the trolley, without ever presenting us with a price list or specifying that they would be charged. Considering that the micro-pastries were planned and offered on the menu, it all clearly implied that this was a courtesy gesture to make up for the inconvenience of the evening. Instead, when it came to the bill, I found myself charged €40 for a drink, without any prior communication or transparency regarding the costs. I find both the superficial handling of allergies and the lack of clarity shown regarding the final bill to be very serious. From a restaurant of this caliber, I expected professionalism, customer care, and fairness—qualities that, unfortunately, were completely lacking during this experience.

From the moment you enter, you sense an elegant and refined atmosphere. My girlfriend and I opted for the Giovani Forchette menu. What can I say? Everything was excellent. Each course impressed us with its balance, precision, and refined flavors. The wine list is very extensive. I truly applaud this restaurant for introducing younger diners to haute cuisine at affordable prices.

At Canzian, which isn't part of the famous restaurant complex, the table is too big, the tablecloths are too nice, and the dishes on the menu look like chemical formulas, but they're actually good, and as if that weren't enough, the service is almost perfect. Plus, the menu doesn't have prices, just like it was for ladies many years ago. The scallops and Colosseum are top notch!

Daniel is a guarantee. The atmosphere is elegant yet never stuffy, where you immediately feel at ease. What I appreciated most was the balance between cuisine and hospitality: carefully prepared, distinctive dishes, with a clear but never forced philosophy. Chef Daniel Canzian exudes passion and great humility, and this is reflected in the overall experience. The service is attentive, friendly, and well-timed, present without being intrusive. It's one of those restaurants you'll want to return to. Perfect for both a special dinner and for those seeking quality and consistency.

Excellent restaurant. I was invited by my boss to this prestigious restaurant. The Ossobuco alla Milanese was a top-notch choice, truly exceptional. The pastry shop was also highly professional. Excellent value for money, very good and very interesting considering it's a tourist destination in Milan, certainly not cheap. I highly recommend it. You certainly won't regret going.

Finally, two friends and I managed to try this restaurant. We had booked the "Giovani Forchette" menu in advance, a five-course menu selected by the chef. We were welcomed at the bar, a choice that made the experience even more engaging thanks to the direct view of the kitchen. Before starting, I chose a cocktail called "Omaggio a Andy Warhol" (Homage to Andy Warhol), made with gin, beetroot juice, and tonic: absolutely delicious. The menu included an entrée, two appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert: every dish was impeccable and meticulously prepared. Personally, I found the pork cheek with green pepper sauce and the mascarpone ice cream with chocolate and Maldon salt to be extraordinary. The location was particularly well-kept and very quiet. One of those places I will definitely return to. A truly fantastic experience. Being a photographer, I pay particular attention to lighting and framing, which is why I've also attached some shots. I would love to collaborate with the restaurant on a photo shoot.

We dined at Canzian Restaurant, choosing the 5-course Giovani Forchette surprise menu. It was an elegant yet down-to-earth Italian haute cuisine experience, which was overall a very positive experience. Let's start with the food: at Canzian, the food is good, period. It's top-notch Italian cuisine. During our meal, we tasted: - egg in chicken broth (amazing broth). - an artichoke stuffed with parmesan on a bed of spinach (super flavorful). - a beetroot risotto with white wine. - a beef cheek with duck ragù on a bed of Jerusalem artichokes. - and finally, a freshly made mascarpone gelato, simply delicious. The quality of the ingredients is evident, the wine list is truly extensive, and the prices are absolutely in line with the city and a restaurant with a clear Michelin reputation, even if it currently lacks a star. The service was undoubtedly a highlight of the evening. The young man who looked after us throughout the dinner was impeccable: kind, extremely polite, friendly, and never intrusive. A balance that made us feel at ease from start to finish. A few minor, less convincing points concern the ambiance: the decor is rather unique, and standing at the counter overlooking the kitchen, you notice some details that perhaps would be better left unnoticed. A few worn utensils and sauces or condiments stored in makeshift plastic bottles are perfectly normal in a kitchen, but in a restaurant of this caliber, they're a bit out of place when they're right under the customer's nose. The only real negative note of the evening came at the end: the "offer" of a taste of two tiny pieces of cheese. Given the extremely small quantity and the use of the word "offer," we never would have expected an extra charge of almost 30 euros. A shame, because it slightly ruined the memory of a dinner and service that up until that point had been excellent in every way. Overall, a great quality restaurant, which with a little more attention to detail could really be impeccable.

02/05/2026: We came here on a very busy holiday weekend and enjoyed great service along with beautiful food. I recommend the Mediterranean diced fish.
28/04/2026: There were five of us dining at this restaurant. Honestly, the appetizers were ridiculously small and very expensive. The tuna carpaccio was tiny for the price. The burrata was okay, nothing special. As for the main courses, the ossobuco was excellent and clearly the best dish of the evening. On the other hand, the pasta with tomato sauce was disappointing: it was completely stuck together, almost forming a solid block, with little flavor. One very negative point about the service: since I hadn't ordered an appetizer, my main course was served at the same time as my friends' appetizers. As a result, I finished eating well before them and then watched them eat their meals… There's clearly a lack of logic in the timing of the service. The service was also very slow, even just getting the menus. The restaurant was full, and the staff seemed completely overwhelmed. In short, if you're looking for a true Italian gastronomic experience, this isn't the place I would recommend. The main advantage remains the setting, which is pleasant.
