Ristorante da Zurro In Lipari

The food was very good, no doubt about it. However, I still don't understand why, despite having made a reservation and having at least four free tables (two of which were later filled by people without reservations), we had to wait 15 minutes for a table with other diners still chatting. No offense, but the service needs to be significantly improved.

A great restaurant. Tasty, delicate and well-served meals. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. It's a place I would return to with my eyes closed.

I always experience the same magic at Zurro. The sound of the sea, the smells and flavors of a unique place. I returned tonight, with my boyfriend, after a few years: everything was perfect! Zurro is a wonderful person, and his cuisine is a wonderful journey.

Authentic Strombolian cuisine! From the creel shrimp to the Strombolian spaghetti, to the squid meatballs... everything has the authentic, ancient flavor of a cuisine that aims to evoke emotions! Thanks Franco!

I've been coming to Stromboli for 17 years, I'd been away for a couple of years, and Zurro, with its location, remains one of the most charming restaurants. I'll start by saying that the choice of place was partly based on reading the reviews. Up until the appetizer, we expressed overwhelmingly positive opinions, as if it were the best place we'd eaten... something that was contradicted by the main courses. I ordered fish, specifically requesting it be boneless. I was offered a local fish, but I insisted further, and the lady, even a little annoyed, replied that I'd have it boneless. I wasted €30 on an inedible fish (mupa), which tasted good, but I spent more time searching for bones in my mouth... the first courses, according to other diners, weren't that great... the pacchero, the black stone, and the rice flan were all "lukewarm" dishes with no particular flavor... I hope next year will be different.

Excellent food, a stunning location, and excellent service. A somewhat hidden restaurant, practically on the waterfront, yet it offers a truly 360-degree experience. Prices are in line with those on the island, and portions are just right. The first courses are prepared with refined, unpretentious flavors. The welcome, as well as the service, are top-notch. The waiters are truly friendly and available to offer advice. I recommend it for a candlelit dinner, whether as a couple or with friends.

Everything is perfect, from the food, to the location, to the owner, an extraordinary person who will welcome you like family. If you're in Stromboli, you can't miss Zurro.

Siamo tornati per la terza volta con immenso piacere e ci è dispiaciuto tantissimo non essere potuti rimanere ancora un giorno,tanto per l'isola, tanto per Zurro! Locale fantastico sul mare,Zurro( Francesco) è una persona straordinaria che si fa in 8 per farti stare bene,riesce a cucinare piatti deliziosi,essendo un vecchio pescatore sa per certo cosa portarti a tavola e soprattutto come cucinarlo! Se passate da Stromboli DOVETE passare una serata da Zurro,chiudendo con uno dei suoi magnifici liquori! A prestissimo
