It helped that the weather was fantastic. We sat outside under the grapevines overlooking the lake. It couldn't be better. A delicious house white wine. I had zucchini pasta with fish, and my son had fried fish (not greasy!) from the lake. Delicious.

We stayed in a vacation rental near Stone House, and the owner recommended this magnificent restaurant. The view of the lake is breathtaking; you can practically eat two meters from the lake! Top location I recommend it.

Très beau cadre au bord du lac d’Orta. Service agréable et bon accueil. Cartes avec plats italiens et poissons. Dommage que les poissons ne sont pas ceux du lac.

12/10/2025: We ate a very good and super fish starter which we liked a lot and the grilled fish was a very generous portion.
07/10/2025: Passing through Novara, we found delicious pizza, good service, and a clean, spacious, and well-managed place. The price was also reasonable. Well done!! 👏

13/10/2025: We visited this restaurant on our way back from a weekend in the Ossola Valley and had a great time. The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the staff were very kind...they even pointed us in the right direction to get home! We enjoyed the appetizers (seafood salad and spinach flan with creamed parmesan), the taiarine pasta with fish ragù, and a mixed fried lake fish dish...all excellent...and the view of the lake!
