Authentic food with great service and a view! We could not ask for more when we went for a still along the lake and ended up at Umberto. Would recommend any day! Tip. Ask for the appetizer with local fish and let them explain the dishes.

The Da Umberto restaurant represents one of those places where family memories never fade, where tradition is constantly celebrated by simple and sober cuisine. What you perceive in this wonderful place overlooking Lake Garda is made up of a careful welcome to the customer, a glamorous environment that brings back the character of the 60s, just look around and the furnishings are proof of this... the seats, the tables... everything seems studied but here really time has deliberately stopped a little to give guests that relaxing atmosphere that you would no longer find in other places. The menu offers simple dishes but with a refined taste: fresh homemade pasta and the fish always delicious. Wine list well represented by the musts of the area and some references with fine sparkling wines and champagne. The owner of the restaurant, the young Nicolo, represents the third generation of management of the restaurant, and it seems that he has learned his grandfather's teachings on how to welcome customers in an excellent way. Here, don't give up on having Nicolo tell you the compelling story of the family, of the passions linked to racing cars, the anecdotes linked to the myths of our great nation, to the characters who passed through there and left their mark. After all, Ristorante Da Umberto is an important piece of family catering that still exists in Italy. Excellent staff. really good!

Abbiamo pranzato di domenica con antipasti di lago e non , un primo e dolci ( a mio avviso cari). Contesto con bella vista e proprio in riva al lago; interni particolare e bagni particolari.Tutto buono ma non c'è alcun piatto che mi abbia entusiasmato da doverci ritornare per forza. Prezzi adeguati. Se capita ci ritorno e una sosta la consiglio vivamente soprattutto fuori stagione.

Hot Mussels in Tomato Sauce – A generous portion of blue sea mussels in a rich, creamy tomato sauce. Burrata Cheese – Fresh and delicious, served with iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and sun-dried tomatoes, finished with balsamic vinegar. Main Courses: Veal Chop – A large portion with great flavor, though slightly overcooked. Chef's Fish of Garda – Tasty but had more bones than expected. Gnocchetti – Delicious, though more similar to traditional gnocchi in size and texture. Desserts: Hot Chocolate Cake – Rich and satisfying, though a lava-style center would have been even better. Tiramisu – A bit too moist for my taste, but made with decaf coffee for a lighter evening option. Soaked Biscuit with Waffles – Absolutely fantastic—easily a 10/10! I would return just for this dessert. Accompanied by two coffees and two glasses of Moscato, the desserts made for a perfect ending. Service: The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. A complimentary limoncello and a Moscato refill were a thoughtful touch. Overall: With its stunning location, great service, and flavorful food, this restaurant is a must-visit at Lake Garda. Some dishes could be refined slightly, but overall, it’s an excellent dining experience. Highly recommended!
