The Ristorante da Paolino, located in the heart of the charming village of Pescocostanzo, is a true culinary jewel that is worth a visit. This is one of the aspects that struck me the most: the ability of the brothers Roberto and Paolo and of both parents, with the "boss MOTHER" at the head of everything, to create such a welcoming and warm environment, without ever losing sight of the service excellence. The level of care and attention to detail they offer their clients is impeccable. The quality of the food is exceptional, with refined flavors and a presentation that enhances each course. Furthermore, the wine list is well-stocked and of a truly important level, perfectly capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates. And I can't fail to mention the quality-price ratio, which is really excellent, considering the quality and the overall experience. If you are in the area of ​​Pescocostanzo, a dinner at Ristorante da Paolino is an experience not to be missed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking not only for an exceptional meal, but also a place to truly feel at home.

We went at the end of July, the only restaurant in the area where we ate excellently, the service was exceptional and the prices were perfectly in line with the competition, except that elsewhere the quality was significantly lower.

Family-run place with the tone of a high-quality restaurant. Welcoming environment with attention to detail, kind and professional staff, you can perceive the passion through the dishes served and the methods of care and attention towards the customer. Three of us had dinner, ordered bruschetta with truffle (they brought two more with tomato for the other 2 diners), grilled fillet rare (perfectly cooked), with roast potatoes, tagliatelle with truffle and eggs with truffle. All served quickly (express cooking times). Last but not least, dessert with cream and fresh figs (a must try and in season). We accompanied the dinner with 1 glass of Prosecco and 1 glass of Rosato (for both they arrived at the table with the two closed bottles that they opened specifically 🔝). We highly recommend to those like us who come as tourists, here you will find the welcome of real restaurateurs.

Great experience! Family-run restaurant, in the most positive sense of the term. the very welcoming staff, Mrs. Rosalba makes you feel at home, and the cuisine is as you imagine it to be in a place in the mountains: quality local products, cooked with simplicity and tradition. As soon as you pay the bill, you already want to come back!

Finding a seat in the Paolino restaurant is not easy and after having dinner there I understood why: it is an experience you absolutely must do if you are in Pescocostanzo! We started with a Paolino appetizer which consisted of a series of courses that included samples of cured meats and cheeses with grilled vegetables and bruschetta (especially the ones with cherry tomatoes, which were spectacular). There is the possibility of ordering half portions, obviously halving the price, and for the Paolino starter a half portion is more than enough for 2 people. Even for the first course we took advantage of this possibility of dividing the dishes to taste in a single dish two first courses that inspired us a lot: tajarin gorgonzola and truffle + taccozzelle alla pescolana (white veal ragù, truffle, mushrooms and cheese). To accompany we obviously chose two glasses of red wine! If I had been less full I would certainly have also ordered a house dessert because they really looked great. Beautiful evening, I hope to return soon!

Very central restaurant, with a recently increased number of seats thanks to the very pleasant outdoor areas. The quality of the dishes is unquestionable, the fast service, the courtesy of the lady.... Enchanting. The half portion proposal is very intelligent: it helps you try more dishes and stay light but full. You don't understand the constant severity of the owner at the checkout, perhaps it depends on the absolutely not high bills...

Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorantino Rustico spinti dalle recensioni, e le confermo. Nota di merito va al personale, in particolare al proprietario, una persona squisita e che ci tiene molto a fare bella figura. Abbiamo assaggiato le bruschette Scamorza e Radicchio come entree, i tagliolini gorgonzola e tartufo, buoni ed abbondanti, abbiamo diviso lo Stinco di maiale, buonissimo e ben condito, e un dolce, ciambellone crema e ciò, quest'ultimo un po' banale, insieme a dei tozzetti alle nocciole offerti. Il conto è stato giusto.

Siamo stati a cena in questo locale storico al centro del Bellissimo paese di Pescocostanzo. Locale tipico con pochi tavoli, molto simpatici i due fratelli tutto fare, per la ns cena abbiamo preso un primo di pasta fatta in casa ottimo, per secondo costine di Agnello alla griglia buone, uno stinco di maialino appena sufficiente, la nostra cena l'abbiamo accompagnata con un'ottimo montepulciano rosato "Torre dei Beati". Servizio adeguato, conto leggermente elevato, esperienza che consiglio di fare. Luigi
