It starts with a beautiful ambiance and exceptionally friendly and attentive service. We had a lovely spot upstairs, halfway up on the terrace (through a doorway, but with plenty of room even for our little Frenchie). For starters, we had spicy spaghetti with artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes. A delicious start to the evening. Our 2023 Peppoli was a perfect accompaniment to the meal, along with the "heavy" Fiorentine nella costola. Excellently grilled and top-notch in flavor. A wonderful experience far from tourist hotspots. And precisely for that reason, a highlight.

The place you wouldn't expect. I had lunch here by chance and will definitely be back. The place is welcoming and family-friendly. The food is traditional Tuscan, very good. Excellent value for money.

I went to this restaurant for the first time a few days ago with friends. The place isn't bad; it has a lovely panoramic terrace in addition to the indoor dining area, which is truly inviting in the summer. I must say, the tables on the terrace were really close together, even too close.
The menu includes regional cuisine. The problem is that several dishes on the menu weren't available, so there wasn't much to choose from. The same goes for the wines: out of three wines selected from the menu, not one was available. So we had to ask what was available. They set the table with mismatched (different) glasses; it's not a big deal, but we wouldn't expect that in a restaurant.
The quality of the dishes isn't bad; they're well-cooked, but without any flair, like being at home: cold cuts and crostini for starters; steak, potatoes, and a side salad.
In short, it's a place neither good nor bad. I would have expected more. It could have been a bad evening, it happens, but given the price paid (not excessive, but not low either given the offer), I don't think I'll go back a second time, unfortunately.

Ci siamo capitati quasi per caso, cercando un posto dove mangiare una fiorentina nel Chianti, a pranzo in un giorno infrasettimanale, dopo aver trovato diverse serrande abbassate. E abbiamo scoperto solo dopo una volta entrati che era un posto un po' speciale. Da Padellina si mangia una cucina toscana semplice e ben fatta, con salumi locali e un'ottima bistecca alla fiorentina cucinata come si deve e ai prezzi giusti, certo. Ma è anche il contesto ad aggiungere qualcosa. L'ambiente è caldo, strapieno di oggetti, foto e biglietti da visita con i ringraziamenti all'oste, che è un personaggio. Il simpatico titolare, detto 'padellina', è un cultore di Dante che ama, sembra, recitare a memoria ai clienti (su youtube ci sono dei video, ho poi scoperto).
Tra fiorentina è Divina Commedia.

Il personale è simpatico e gentile. Buone anche le penne sul gallo. FIORENTINA OBBLIGATORIA!

El personal era muy atento y amable. Una de nuestras 2 comidas era bueno (ravioli y salvia). Los boloñeses, por otro lado, eran prácticamente incomestibles. Grasa más allá de las palabras. Súper decepcionado. Es básicamente el único restaurante de la ciudad, así que supongo que consigues lo que consigues.
