The food is excellent, but they don't always have ceciaca pasta. It would be enough if they kept it in reserve so they always had it. The dishes are very good, but the portions are small. I went with some friends and we had an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and coffee. We spent €45, but we left still hungry.
The portions aren't at all generous, and there are limited options for celiacs/gluten-free options.

There were two of us. The place is very homey and welcoming. We both had the pasta del gallo, vegetable side dishes, two bruschettas, and a large slice of Chianina beef.
Everything was really good!!
The staff is very friendly, and there's a family atmosphere. Perhaps I expected the price to be a little lower, but overall the experience was positive.

A unique experience, with local appetizers, but not to mention delicious stuff, penne sul gallo, for crying out loud, steak, duck, desserts—all excellent. A family atmosphere thanks to the owners who make sure you have everything you need. Recommended.

I recently visited Da Padellina and had a truly pleasant experience. The restaurant has an authentic, simple, and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for those seeking traditional cuisine without frills but prepared with care.
The dishes are the real highlight: generous portions, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors reminiscent of home cooking. The Florentine steak is impeccably cooked, while the pasta dishes—especially the butter and sage ravioli—are absolutely worth a try. Even the desserts are authentic and taste just right.
The service is friendly and fast, despite the restaurant often being busy. The prices are fair and commensurate with the quality and size of the portions.
In short: Da Padellina is a restaurant that focuses on tradition and substance, and does so very well. Recommended for those who want to eat well and feel at home.

Ci siamo capitati quasi per caso, cercando un posto dove mangiare una fiorentina nel Chianti, a pranzo in un giorno infrasettimanale, dopo aver trovato diverse serrande abbassate. E abbiamo scoperto solo dopo una volta entrati che era un posto un po' speciale. Da Padellina si mangia una cucina toscana semplice e ben fatta, con salumi locali e un'ottima bistecca alla fiorentina cucinata come si deve e ai prezzi giusti, certo. Ma è anche il contesto ad aggiungere qualcosa. L'ambiente è caldo, strapieno di oggetti, foto e biglietti da visita con i ringraziamenti all'oste, che è un personaggio. Il simpatico titolare, detto 'padellina', è un cultore di Dante che ama, sembra, recitare a memoria ai clienti (su youtube ci sono dei video, ho poi scoperto).
Tra fiorentina è Divina Commedia.
