Finally, after many years of coming to this island, we made a reservation.
A couple of people found out about our reservation and dissuaded us from going.
The place is an outdoor area on the promenade, very nice and well looked after.
The staff were kind and attentive.
The tuna tartare wasn't bad, very delicate, it was really a taste.
I must say that the fried food was the worst I have ever eaten in my life, including fried foods from village festivals. Fried in batter which took away the flavor of the fish, especially very greasy, when you pressed it with a fork oil came out. Fried food which was immediately difficult to digest was repeated throughout the night.
From such a renowned restaurant, with higher prices than others, I expected much more.
Last evening of holidays thought to end with a bang, instead with huge disappointment.
After a few days, out of curiosity I decide to read the reviews of the restaurant (something I hadn't done before, otherwise...) and I notice that the owner always reiterates the negative reviews (different) in an annoyed tone. Many reiterate that the review tells about the customer and not about the restaurant.
Mr A. Pomata, I believe that you should make virtue of these reviews, from the negative reviews you can take inspiration to improve.

I recommend everyone to try this restaurant where I ate, among other things, perhaps the best tuna in all of Carloforte. It's a shame that as the evening continued, the initial welcome was slowly lost to the point of almost abandonment, partly justified by the many presences, to the point of making us stop ordering anything else. Average raw.

I have always avoided this restaurant because it seemed "too expensive" but instead we spent like many other restaurants with the difference that in this restaurant you eat special things and not the usual things and above all you eat really well!

Nice place, friendly and diligent service... shame about a couple of events, namely the wait for one of the first courses for twenty minutes after bringing the others, the waitress warned us with particular sincerity that it had been forgotten by the kitchen and the intestine in fried prawns... they justified themselves by saying that in raw prawns it is regularly removed, while "they do a lot of frying"...!!! But they promised us that they would remove it during the second frying and so it happened! In short, great potential but the margin for improvement must be evaluated seriously and carefully.

Nothing to say, a good fish restaurant, with traditional Carloforte dishes revisited and modernised.
The staff is courteous, helpful and approachable.
The bill was slightly high for the type of restaurant.
The historic linguine alla Nicolo are well constructed, creamy and very delicate.
Definitely a place to return to.
