We didn't have a reservation at the restaurant, but we were still able to get a table. For starters, we treated ourselves to pasta, which was simply delicious. Then, for our main course, we had tuna with millesfoglie potatoes and mayo. It was truly fantastic! It's a very nice touch from the chef that each table is personally greeted upon arrival.

Ristorante da Nicolo is a must in Carloforte! The service and ambiance couldn’t be better. Whatever you order will be delicious, especially the tonno.

Nicolò is one of Carloforte's historic restaurants, and over the years it has maintained its reputation while continually improving its offerings. The location remains the same, on the seafront, but much more beautiful and elegant. The quality of the dishes is excellent, and the service impeccable. The fish soup with oriental-flavored couscous is unforgettable, as are the ingenious tuna bottarga with black figs, the black tagliolini with truffle, and finally the bottarga cheesecake. Congratulations, they're truly talented.

Superlative cuisine. I've been coming here since I was a child and have witnessed the evolution of this restaurant. In Carloforte, they are masters at preparing bluefin tuna, but not only that. They have successfully combined tradition with everything that defines excellent dining. Courtesy, professionalism, and an unparalleled atmosphere.

We spent a lovely evening in Carloforte and to finish off we stopped at this restaurant... perfect appetizer! Perfect wine! But for the second course, I was honestly disappointed by the way the tuna was cooked.

The title of best restaurant on the island goes to Da Nicolò: creative and refined cuisine, from tagliatelle with squid ink and truffle to perfectly cooked belly of pork belly. Superlative desserts (caramel cheesecake and cannoli), attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. It blends tradition and innovation: highly recommended.

Di passaggio a Carloforte, io e mia moglie siamo andati a cena al ristorante Da Nicolò, incuriositi da una foto pubblicata in un servizio di Bell’Italia lo scorso settembre su Carloforte, che ritraeva Antonello Pomata, patron e chef di questo ristorante, in bicicletta con una cesta di limoni ed una enorme bottarga di tonno appesa al manubrio. Siamo stati accolti con calore e simpatia sia dallo Chef sia dai suoi collaboratori che ci hanno spiegato e consigliato i piatti che abbiamo gustato durante la cena. Io ho scelto un cannolo croccante di pane carasau, con gamberi, cozze e zucchine su bisque di crostacei e come piatto principale dei mezzi paccheri con polpo, seppia, granchio rosso, pomodoro e cipolla. Come dessert una cassata Carlofortina. Mia moglie ha optato per una bottarga dl tonno di Carloforte con carciofo di Masainas, spuma di mozzarella di bufala, crostino di pane all'origano e scorza di limone. A seguire, lo stesso mio cannolo e per dessert una cheescake alla bottarga, invenzione dello chef. Tutti i piatti sono stati ottimi, all’altezza delle nostre aspettative. Il percorso è stato accompagnato da due calici di Vermentino a testa e con i dolci da un bicchiere di passito Angialis. Conto di 170 euro.

In un locale stellato il minimo che mi aspetto è un ottimo servizio. ...Che dire ? Imbarazzante la gestione della sala con camerieri disattenti o forse presi dalla gestione di tavoli più importanti del nostro! Il momento della scelta dei vini è stato incommentabile ci ha maldisposto e non ha decisamente agevolato il nostro ben disporsi all'arrivo di piatti preparati con attenzione e cura . Siamo molto delusi perché doveva essere una serata speciale invece..... Il 3 è unicamente per la cucina
