We had dinner for two last night (December 28, 2025) after finding the restaurant featured in the Slow Food guide. We had a great time: a wide selection of traditional dishes, generous portions, and friendly service. In particular, after I mentioned that my girlfriend is lactose intolerant, the waitress immediately suggested two small changes to the appetizer selection. The only downsides were the volume of the music and the €3 cover charge per person, which seemed a bit steep, but overall, a very positive experience.

Simply everything was perfect. Professional, friendly, and efficient staff, exquisitely prepared and flavorful dishes, and a beautiful and very relaxing location. Highly recommended.

Impeccable service, attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. I recommend their specialty: the first course, "scialatiello with caciocavallo fondue and crusco peppers."

A very nice restaurant with excellent service. Prices are a bit higher (though still perfectly acceptable for Matera) – here you don't run the risk of paying a lot for food that doesn't taste good. We each had a very good pasta and meat dish, along with good wine.

06/03/2026: Simple place that served amazing food, especially enjoyed the bean stew, sausage with eggs and pot shank! The veal was slightly underwhelming but still good! Overall a great meal!
