An authentic trattoria, with the pros and cons (very few) that entails. Family-run, the owners are wonderful people, still working with passion and always smiling. Good food, delicious homemade desserts, all in a family-friendly and always welcoming atmosphere.

As soon as we entered, in addition to the warm welcome from the owners, we were pleasantly delighted by the excellent aroma coming from the kitchen. We opted for fish but there is also an excellent choice in the land menu. Very fresh fish, cooked to perfection and with passion! I highly recommend it! Congratulations indeed!

Every time I am in Pisa I come to Mario. Exceptional Margherita, crunchy and slow-rising, also *gluten-free*. Friendly staff and top-quality pizza. A cool place in Piazza delle Vettovaglie for evenings with live music (there are street musicians) in a cosmopolitan and medieval setting.

The environment is very welcoming, it is a restaurant where the lady who welcomes you gives you the certainty that you eat well.....we were five and undecided on what to eat....but when we entered the smell of the kitchen suggested fish. And we were very satisfied.
The decor is not modern but the food is excellent...we went for the food.

Si quieres comida casera, rica, bien elaborada, auténtica, con productos frescos, calidad precio inmejora ble y una hospitalidad increíble por parte de la cuoca Sandra, que hace las veces de camarera, junto a Mario que está a la entrada, no lo dudes. Probamos el arroz nero con sepia y los espaguetis con almejas. Increíbles los 2 platos, aunque los espaguetis con almejas ganaron de calle. El tiramisú excelente también. Un lugar memorable en todos los sentidos y no muy lejos de la Torre de Pisa, pero hacia uno de los lados menos turístico.
