Ristorante Da Mario In Manciano

We visited Da Mario's restaurant on the recommendation of our guesthouse. The small terrace in the courtyard immediately appealed to us. There's an English menu. The staff themselves don't speak English, which made communication a bit difficult. The food was delicious and we were very satisfied. Therefore, we can't understand some of the negative reviews.

The restaurant is worth it for the food: very good meat, well cooked and brought on a grill that keeps it warm. The environment and service are spartan but it doesn't matter

Wonderful - affordable and good!

It feels like home. The atmosphere of a restaurant from another era. The owner and manager himself serves at the tables and takes care of the huge grill that fortunately does not smoke or smell like grilled meat. The meat is the strong point, but the first courses are no joke either. If you are in Saturnia, you can't miss it. At Mario's, like at a friend's house.

A true Tuscan feast at Da Mario! Everything we tasted at Da Mario was pure delight. From the generous charcuterie to the delicious cheeses, including the famous Florentine prime rib, each dish is an explosion of authentic flavors. The wine, which perfectly complements the meal, is of high quality, and all at a truly reasonable price. Mario cooks right in front of us—a true spectacle! His composure and artistic talent make the experience even more unique. This is a place not to be missed for all lovers of traditional Italian cuisine.

Let me start by saying that I am a true Neapolitan and therefore accustomed to excellent Neapolitan cuisine. Having said that, I stayed in Saturnia and consequently I was looking for a good restaurant to have dinner with the family. By pure chance I found myself booking for 4 people to dine at Mario's restaurant in the historic center of Saturnia. A cozy but cute restaurant, typical of the Maremma. I won't go on, I can only give my personal and very positive opinion on Mario's cuisine: amazing. I ate pappardelle with Chianina sauce, delicious. For second I had the fillet with green pepper: excellent. Excellent value for money. Professional and trained staff. Mr. Mario is a wonderful person. Una vez más en el Mario uno de los mejores pequeños restaurantes de Saturnia uno de mis favoritos mi esposa y yo de todos modos nos encanta el propietario Mario que simplemente te hace sentir como en casa cada vez que estamos en su restaurante. En cuanto a la comida, el mejor filete a la parrilla siempre pedimos la mesa frente a la parrilla simplemente romántico para mí y mi esposa. Pasta casera con ragu de venado. Hermoso vino y un servicio agradable. Muy recomendable que no te decepcione. Grazie Mario como siempre ❤️.
