A truly authentic Italian restaurant where time seems to have stood still. The food is impeccable and the staff very attentive. Located upstairs and well worth a visit. Three courses and a bottle of wine about 62 Euro.

A very characteristic restaurant located in the city center. The atmosphere seems very old-fashioned but still well-kept. Personally, I liked it very much. The food is very good, especially the typical local products. A great discovery indeed!

What can I say... Finally, a restaurant that doesn't offer gourmet food, but good, old-fashioned dishes—simple yet delicious. It feels like home... an excellent location, a restaurant with its own identity, where tradition reigns supreme... I'll definitely be back with friends and family to enjoy the delicious Emilian cuisine. I highly recommend making a reservation...

The portions were adequate without being excessive. Overall, the food was good. The place was very crowded. Tables were very close together (even the waiters struggled to get through). The dining room was unbearably hot. Service was very slow (a half-hour wait for a cured meats appetizer, an hour for a first course). We paid €29 each for water, a glass of red wine, a cured meats appetizer for two (a very limited bread basket with three thin slices of bread each), and a first course for €13. Cover charge was €3, which was a lot in my opinion.

Nice dinner good service enjoyed the fried appetizer that they give you a giant bowl of lardo to put inside with Parmesan cheese. Steak with balsamic was better than I thought it would be.

The food was average, but the portions were a bit small. The bill was reasonable. The atmosphere was similar to a hotel. This place had been recommended to me, but I wouldn't recommend it highly enough.

In due anni che mi trovo a Modena non ero ancora mai stato qui, perché dalle recensioni lette qui non sembrava promettente. Tuttavia, pare che la gestione sia cambiata di recente, per cui ho voluto fare un tentativo. L’ambiente è certamente superato, ma ci può stare perché ha comunque un certo fascino e tutto sommato non l’ho trovato fastidioso, anche perché c’era poca gente. Servizio gentile e rapido. Ho preso un primo del giorno, a base di tortelloni ripieni con scaglie di parmigiano e panna e un calice di Lambrusco. Tutto sommato piatto originale e gradevole, per cui nel complesso darei un 3,5 arrotondato a 4 per incoraggiamento. Magari tornerò per mangiare altri piatti e potrò dare un giudizio più approfondito. Per il momento posso consigliarlo senza problemi!

Le cameriere erano gentilissime e sorridenti. C’erano varie scelte di piatti tipici. Inoltre al tavolo ti portano l’originale Aceto di Modena da cospargere sulle pietanze. Tutto molto buono!
