We dined here on Sunday evening and the experience was impeccable. When simplicity meets quality, the result is guaranteed. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional and you can taste it in every dish. The setting is well-kept and spotlessly clean, but the real plus is the staff: cheerful, friendly, and truly welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

During a weekend in Maratea, I had dinner at Cesare. A restaurant serving traditional seafood. The food was fresh and well-cooked. Good value for money. I highly recommend it. It's open on Mondays, which is a plus.

If I had to describe my experience at this restaurant, I'd give it five stars with my eyes closed. From the welcome, to the location and view, to the exceptional food (delicious fresh pasta and generous portions), there's nothing to complain about! Highly recommended.

It's always a pleasure to return to Cesare's. The first time was over 40 years ago, and I've been back every now and then to visit Vito and his family, who admirably run this historic family restaurant with professionalism and tradition. The view of the Maratea sea from the terrace is worth the visit in itself. And the menu, what can I say? TOP.

We stopped in for lunch on Sunday because we were passing through. I only had spaghetti with clams, so it's not enough to judge the overall experience, but what I ate was excellent. Fast service and friendly staff.

20/02/2026: We had breakfast there over the weekend and it was delicious. The owner was really kind and happy to accommodate any requests.
29/11/2025: Excellent gelato shop, made with quality ingredients in rich, flavorful flavors. This is the bar on Viale Roma, which has always been there for decades. The breakfast pastries are also excellent.

31/12/2025: Excellent food! The service too, aside from the wine served directly by the glass. I'm not sure what I drank, but overall my blend wasn't bad... the pure Aglianico, on the other hand, was a 5--! I'd definitely go back! The chef is truly talented!
31/12/2025: A very welcoming restaurant in the historic center of Rotonda, serving excellent quality cuisine using excellent local produce. Top marks for the quality of the food and dishes. Recommended.
