Unfortunately, my experience at the Da Cesare restaurant was disappointing in several ways. Although the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and the location is interesting, the service was disorganized and inattentive: long waiting times, distracted and unkind staff, almost annoyed by the requests. The dishes, then, did not justify the prices at all. The portions were small and the general quality of the food was far below expectations: not very fresh ingredients, incorrect cooking and unbalanced flavors. In particular, a fish dish arrived lukewarm and tasteless, while the dessert seemed packaged. I was hoping for an authentic and pleasant experience, but I left with the feeling of having wasted time and money. I would not recommend it and personally I would not return.

Excellent dinner for two, priceless sunset, good choice from the menu, applause to the dining room and kitchen staff, very professional in their profession.

We just went there for lunch on the way back from a visit to Cristo.... Fantastic atmosphere and view... Staff that you can tell have been in the industry for years... But in my opinion that little bit more would be needed to motivate us to return.... We had fried calamari and anchovies, both excellent, fresh pasta with scampi, also excellent.... Then however the fresh pasta with mussels and shrimp, although good, contained a shrimp, one split in two... In short, we are talking about a 16 euro pasta, not a 10 euro one would expect.... The spaghetti with clams course was absolutely wrong, a super abundant portion yes, but basically spaghetti with oil, clams and parsley without the sauce pulled with the clams.... Personally, I would never bring bread to the table that was declared (and honestly I add) not fresh.... Rather, I would immediately say that it is missing and I would not charge the service charge... In conclusion, I would not say it was a bad experience but lacking that extra touch capable of motivating you to return.

A very good restaurant! I recommend booking

On vacation with friends we booked for a dinner at this very well-known place. The staff were very kind and welcoming, for the kitchen a few oversights, the sautéed clams were barely warm, I suppose therefore reheated at the moment and not even reheated well, a baked sea bream decidedly raw, we sent it back to the kitchen to finish cooking, in short two not insignificant slips. The first courses with clams were average.

Lunch for 2 people based on fish, the portions were more than abundant, the food was excellent and fresh, I highly recommend it, friendly staff, price €50 per person, not bad for 2 starters, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 2 side dishes, wine, water and coffee

Welcoming, clean restaurant, impeccable service, good food

Locale con una bella terrazza esterna con vista mare e piccolo parcheggio riservato antistante. Abbiamo assaggiato due diversi primi di mare (orecchiette al sugo di scampi e spaghetti al nero di seppie). Buoni ma onestamente non eccezionali. Meglio il secondo, con filetto di spigola (fresca) e una buona frittura di calamari e gamberi, accompagnata da una fresca insalata mista. Il servizio è gentile premuroso, i tempi (anche con locale non eccessivamente pieno) però sono piuttosto lunghi.

Arrivati senza prenotazione siamo stati accolti e serviti da un personale molto carini. Servizio ottimo, per i piatti ci siamo lasciati consigliare e ci hanno soddisfatto e sono anche abbondanti.
