The meat is good. Good glass of wine, kind owner. The environment is particular. Slow food presidium.

ristorante storico del cuore della città di Volterra. Sala ricca di vini e fotografie che ritraggono eventi legati alla storia del ristorante. Sul menù la fanno da padrone la Pasta fatta in casa e prodotti locali molti dei quali provenienti dalla loro stessa azienda agricola. Ho assaggiato i tagliolini al tartufo con crema inglese salata: pasta ottima ( peccato solo un po’ poca) , cottura perfetta, generosa la dose di tartufo, la salsa in accompagnamento era servita su un cucchiaio a parte e legava perfettamente il piatto una volta amalgamata alla pasta. Poi ho assaggiato una degustazione di ottimi pecorini. Servizio cortese e attento. Posto consigliato, non turistico ma molto tradizionale.

We had probably the best wild mushroom risotto ever. The staff was very friendly and the owner interacted with us in a very friendly and pleasant way. A great place for an intimate and low key dinner.

We had a WONDERFUL TIME at Ristorante Da Beppino. The food was delicious and fresh. Antonio and his sister are lovely and provide top service. We even took our friends back so we could have a second meal there! 10/10 recommend!!!

We were very impressed with the food and the ambience! The Pici a la Carbonara were very tasty, as was the lamb and the lasagna, but they were outdone by the dessert tiramisu in a glass! Also worth mentioning is the green fresh apple juice (juiced in situ). The service was decent.

It was the restaurant of our time in Tuscany! The mushroom risotto was amazing followed by wild boar which was suggested with the Barolo we had and it worked perfectly. They have such a passion for their food and how they source. It was fun and interesting just to chat to Antonio about it. We are looking forward to coming back!!! By the way I couldn’t believe the amazing value for the wines.

14/11/2024: The staff is very kind, the environment is very large, there is space between one table and another. It could be a little more refined. The food is simple.
19/09/2024: Dinner booked with the fork. We arrive promptly at 8pm, empty restaurant. Good and friendly welcome. On the menu a decent selection of dishes also aimed at innovation. We choose 2 appetizers, 2 first courses and a dessert. The starters were very good, I liked the first courses even if the balance of the ingredients can sometimes deceive the taste. Desserts made by the chef. The glass of lively Vermentino is excellent. Good mise en place, essentially attentive and discreet service. Correct account. Paid €57 already discounted. Unfortunately, to our taste, the room appeared a little cold.
