A very pleasant discovery!
I had dinner at this restaurant for New Year's Eve!
Reservation "sight unseen", after an Internet search and after seeing the themed menu for the evening.
I arrive at the venue and outside, in addition to the various awards, I see the plaque of the Fisar associated venue, we start well, we enter, we are the first customers of the evening and we are welcomed with a warm smile, I look around and see bottles and boxes of wine everywhere, in the center on the wall a picture with the qualification of Fisar Sommelier, excellent choice!
They immediately offer us a welcome aperitif while waiting for the other guests.
Let's move on to the menu: fantastic products, choice of excellent quality raw materials, perfect plating, almost perfect combination of ingredients!
Truly a pleasant discovery, I will be back soon to try the dishes on the à la carte menu!

We had lunch yesterday in this characteristic place in Volterra, we were fully satisfied with the food and the service.
Homemade cured meats that melted in your mouth, as well as other equally tasty dishes. Very recommended

ristorante storico del cuore della città di Volterra. Sala ricca di vini e fotografie che ritraggono eventi legati alla storia del ristorante. Sul menù la fanno da padrone la Pasta fatta in casa e prodotti locali molti dei quali provenienti dalla loro stessa azienda agricola.
Ho assaggiato i tagliolini al tartufo con crema inglese salata: pasta ottima ( peccato solo un po’ poca) , cottura perfetta, generosa la dose di tartufo, la salsa in accompagnamento era servita su un cucchiaio a parte e legava perfettamente il piatto una volta amalgamata alla pasta. Poi ho assaggiato una degustazione di ottimi pecorini. Servizio cortese e attento. Posto consigliato, non turistico ma molto tradizionale.
