Satisfied after a Sunday lunch with friends, I decided to give a family member a voucher for lunch at this restaurant. I learned that the owner was "smart" without even making the gesture of giving away a box of rice to the guests. A little more honesty wouldn't hurt! Sin...!

Such places are rarely found. For years Balin Anna and Francesca have been an excellence in the area. Restaurant located in a very romantic village among the rice fields, in a renovated farmhouse. possibility of eating outdoors in summer. The interior with the 3 rooms and the beautiful fireplace is the setting for the real protagonists, the highest quality raw materials, the skill in the kitchen, an impeccable service that manages (which is very rare) to make you feel at home, transmitting kindness and serenity, while still leaving privacy to the diners. Very extensive wine list with proposals of various prices. excellent sparkling wine from Etna! hands down our favorite restaurant! raw meat, risotto and second courses are at truly exceptional levels. we hope to return soon! keep it up!

We went for lunch yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday. The place is welcoming, furnished in a harmonious way with respect to the place, with attention to every detail. Delicious appetizers, spectacular panissa, unforgettable "Langa hazelnut" dessert. The service was perfect, everyone was very kind and the owner came to the table to wish the birthday boy a happy birthday. We will definitely be back!

Typical Italian trattoria, where the traditions of traditional local cuisine are enhanced by a warm, welcoming environment that maintains the spirit of the best Italian culinary and gastronomic excellence. Excellent service and very good price-quality ratio. This restaurant is not worth a stop, not even a detour, but rather a dedicated trip. Absolutely recommended and certainly one of the best restaurants I have been to in recent years.

Now, for our group, Balin has become a fixed stop and just think... it manages to attract friends who come from Liguria, Lombardy and Piedmont "Saluzzo, Chieri" and all this can only happen for the chef's special risottos, in addition to the exceptional variety of sulumi... Situato in una frazione di Livorno Ferraris si presenta come una realtà quasi fuori dal tempo. Gli interni sono rustici, famigliari di grande atsmofera e molto rilassanti. I tavoli sono ben separati, servizio conviviale, gentile ed il titolare "Balin" istrione di sala ma mai invadente o sopra le righe. Dalla cucina solo cose buone! Ricerca nella qualità degli ingredienti e piatti ottimi. Carta dei vini eccellente. Votazione: 87/100 Ci tornerò con piacere, lo ammetto per la Panissa di Balin!

Tried it after various recommendations, for a dinner with colleagues. Pleasantly impressed by the quality of the cuisine and service. Although it is in a difficult location to reach, it is absolutely worth going there. Highly recommended.
