In short: recommended, even though the service is really bad. Food is pretty amazing and at times also fun. So that's already a lot. Wines are quite boring but drinkable. Sadly though the service was extremely poor. Had to move the table myself to sit, English was practically impossibile to understand, the service pace was far too fast, up to the point we had to ask them to slow down. And when they came to collect the payment, the lady didn't even ask how the meal was.

I dined there in the evening and had the 8-course tasting menu – this review is written within the framework of a Michelin-style assessment, meaning it considers perfection in the cuisine, service, wine pairings, and overall experience. What was good: * The food was excellent overall. Technically masterful, creative ideas, and a good selection of ingredients. * The "greeting to molecular gastronomy" was particularly impressive, with the olive that burst in the mouth, releasing a very intense flavor. * The service was also generally friendly and attentive. There were moments when the details were just right. What was less convincing: * The portions were sometimes rather small, even for gourmet cuisine. This meant that it wasn't always possible to fully appreciate the complete flavor of each course – which is a shame if you're expecting many subtle nuances. * * The "hamburger" interpretation of Sicilian cuisine: The idea is appealing, but the burger bun was so dominant that it overpowered the other flavors. The balance suffered as a result. Wine pairing / Sommelier: * One of the bottles of wine in the pairing was almost empty, and only a very small amount was poured. It seemed to us that more was expected, but the sommelier didn't reappear. Only after asking the waitress did we learn that the originally intended wine was no longer available. The restaurant manager eventually came in and had a very delicious substitute wine served to us, which was a positive moment. Unfortunately, we had to explain this three times, which was unnecessarily awkward for such an obvious matter. Overall, the amounts of wine poured—especially compared to Duomo in Ragusa—were relatively small. The sommelier barely made eye contact, seemed distant, at times uninterested in her own presentation, and appeared somewhat aloof from the guests. Overall, rather disappointing for a Michelin-starred restaurant – I would have liked to see more passion for the wine. Perhaps she was having an off day, which I certainly allow for anyone. Compared to Duomo (Ragusa-Ibla, Chef: Ciccio Sultano, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant), the service at Crossificcio falls short overall. That's not to say Crossificcio is bad – but compared to an establishment like Duomo, there's room for improvement, especially regarding service and wine pairings. Summary & Rating Crossificcio offers a good to very good tasting menu with some truly outstanding moments, including the molecular amuse-bouche. The cuisine is creative and meticulous, but at this level, it's the details that make the difference: portion sizes, wine service, and personalized attention.

We were a group of four and had the six course fish tasting menu. We appreciated that they offered to mix and pick dish/es from the vegetarian or meat menu. We got advice from the very competent Sommelière for a bottle of white wine from Noto dubbed “La bomba”. Three of us added a glass of red wine ( dubbed “the king”)with the lamb dish they picked. We loved the wines and appreciated the great selection of local wines offered. The food was very refined and it was interesting that between the four of us we picked different favourites. For me the tomato water that was served with a fake olive was the best opening of menu experience in a long time. An explosion of olive taste which then harmonised with the tomato water. Amazing! All dishes were refined and conveyed the Sicilian experience perfectly. Presentation was artful. Service very attentive. We loved that the head waiter asked us about favourite dishes at the end of the meal as it allowed us to revisit the experience. It’s a clear recommendation. Also, if you visit Noto, we strongly recommend to stay at Sikelia Suites which is directly opposite Ristorante Crocifisso. It was such a bonus to just cross the street from one perfect place to another

The eight-course surprise menu features highlights from the standard menus (meat, fish, and vegetarian). A recommended choice, along with the wine pairing. The courses are finely composed and precisely balanced in flavor – creative, modern cuisine at Michelin-star level. The high proportion of various types of bread in the dishes, such as burgers or brioche, is striking. The portion size is rather small, but more than enough for the overall menu. The service is friendly. The chef visits regularly but doesn't seek out contact with the guests. Neither does the restaurant manager. This seems a bit odd. It's worth a visit.

A charming place! We had a seafood tasting, what can I say...it was wonderful, every course was spectacular and surprising. The cod with leek foam has remained in my heart. It's truly a masterpiece of cuisine, compliments to the chef and all the staff. The wine cellar is very extensive, the service top-notch, and the ambience is meticulously designed.

I'd like to thank Chef Marco Baglieri, Vanessa Cannarella, and the entire staff at Ristorante Crocifisso | Noto for the delicious dinner and hospitality. I'm sorry the photos aren't great and there are quite a few missing. We relied on Marco's judgment, and he chose the dishes for our dinner. Each ingredient is carefully selected by the Chef, the result of careful and passionate research that prioritizes freshness and authenticity. The combination of these elements creates exquisitely modern dishes that retain timeless aromas and flavors. A cuisine that surprises without ever forgetting its roots, where innovation and tradition blend harmoniously in every course. Thank you so much ♥️
