If I go to Livigno, the Hotel Cristallo is my go-to.
Unfortunately, I almost always only manage to stay for 2 or 3 nights, and I've even been unable to find a single room available.
But I can explain why perfectly well. The thoughtfulness, Maura's hospitality, Lorenza's excellent cuisine, and the kindness of all their staff contribute to making every guest's stay a success.

Excellent! 5 well-deserved stars.
We've been coming to this hotel for three years now (that's saying something) on a half-board basis, and we also stayed at the sister hotel Valtellina a year before.
The staff is magnificent, as is the welcome. The owner, Maura, is very kind and always available. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The food is excellent, the rooms are spotless, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of Livigno's center and some ski slopes. There's a heated locker for your ski equipment and a covered garage (so your car doesn't freeze).
The bus stop is in front of the hotel (blue and red lines), and the yellow and green lines are a three-minute walk away—a truly strategic location for reaching every part of Livigno.
The addition of the wellness area is a plus; after a day of skiing, spending an hour in the hotel spa is very relaxing. Then we continued to the city center for a bit of shopping and a visit to the Christmas markets before dinner to stretch our legs a bit.
Breakfast buffet with eggs and toast included in the price (gluten- and lactose-free options are also available—the omelette is highly recommended!) A la carte dinner with multiple choices (accommodating everyone from carnivores to vegetarians to fish eaters—a very varied selection. The meat, cheese, fish, soups, pasta, and salads change daily, including traditional dishes. Delicious desserts; the strudel, crème brulee, panna cotta, gelato, Nutella cake, and tiramisu are highly recommended—we tried almost everything.)
We only stayed in Livigno in the winter, but we'll be back in the summer/spring with our dog—an extra star because the hotel is super pet-friendly and is also home to two friendly dogs who will brighten up your day.
Excellent price - Free ski pass (low season) + half-board hotel. Unbeatable value for money.

A lovely hotel with a new spa area featuring a sauna, whirlpool, and steam room. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious.

A wonderful find in the center of Livigno. The staff were very friendly, and the owner was always available and attentive to our every request. The suite is beautiful, very clean, and equipped with every comfort. The wellness area has everything you need for a relaxing end-of-the-day experience. Breakfast was excellent, varied, and plentiful. Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money. Excellent service, cuisine, and cleanliness. Excellent location. The friendliness and courtesy are top notch. The room with a well-kept balcony and mountain-style décor is spotless. The hotel is suitable for families, couples, and groups of friends. We weren't able to use their spa, but next time we will. The dining room is spotless, with well-presented and very tasty dishes. Outside, there are tables where you can enjoy snacks, aperitifs, or breakfast, bathed in the Livigno sun. A lovely hotel in the center of Livigno, convenient for public transportation (which is free in this city) and with ski lifts nearby. Family-run, the service immediately puts you at ease. Clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent, as is the cuisine, which boasts delicious specialties and alternatives.

Magnificent!! is the first adjective that comes to mind, but perhaps it's not enough to describe our experience at the Cristallo Hotel.
The room was perfect, clean, welcoming, and complete with every amenity.
Good breakfast.
Excellent dinner, high-quality food and cuisine, Lorenza truly superb.
The staff was helpful and kind, attentive to our every request.
And finally, the icing on the cake was Maura, the owner: AWESOME, KIND, COMPETENT, and THOUGHTFUL.
She makes the hotel feel like a big family.
