My wife and I stopped for lunch and what can I say... informal and homey atmosphere, amazing food, and kindness that you really don't find anywhere else at this level. Congratulations! We will be back VERY GLADLY. Top!

A simple yet high-quality restaurant, offering exquisite food with generous portions, truly top-notch if you're looking to spend a couple of hours unwinding from the stresses of everyday life. Just steps from the Bucamante waterfalls, highly recommended. The menu is traditional Modenese and Bolognese. The homemade pasta and meat are truly sublime, prepared with the perfect balance of seasonings. I visited as a motorcycle tourer with some motorcycle friends and was so pleased with what we tasted, we've vowed to return soon to try all the other specialties we were curious about. We've even named it one of the restaurants in the "Mototouring Emilia Romagna Bologna" program, where we'll be visiting with our families in the winter. The friendly dining room staff, Sabrina (a failed motorcycle tourer), and her husband, the owner of the business, welcomed us like few others can. It's always open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. It's closed in the evenings because it's a strictly family-run business. What's unusual is that during the treatment, from a corner of the room you can glimpse the interior of the impeccably clean kitchen and the staff who work there... Who knows if sometime on a motorbike tour through the Modena hills we'll take our good friend Alessandro Borghesi there... I imagine what a surprise it will be for Mrs Sabrina... hahahhahaah

Lunch with friends on Sunday the 26th. Returning to Colombaccio is like dining with family, welcomed by the same warmth and kindness that distinguishes them. The mountain menu is high-quality and generously portioned, not to mention the excellent value. It's a shame to stop and read scathing reviews about the lack of a paper menu or QR code when you should appreciate that they don't have the usual tourist-friendly printed menu, but an illustrated menu (synonymous with fresh dishes). I should add that tradition dictates milk in the ragù. (And at Colombaccio, tradition is respected, not to mention that it's excellent!!) See you soon, and you're great!

We went to this restaurant for lunch yesterday. I have to say we were amazed by the staff's hospitality and the excellent food. We had tortelloni, gnocco, and tigelle. They welcomed us at 2:30 PM without any problems. Excellent Emilian cuisine with very reasonable prices, considering the current situation. I highly recommend it. After paying, they even offered us a complimentary liqueur.
