The host was very friendly and described the food very well. The risottos and pastas were very good. The baba (a typical dessert) was delicious, and the panna cotta was also good. At the end, they offered us limóncello. It's worth going. Reservations are recommended.

Visiting Salerno with my partner, we discovered this restaurant thanks to its good reviews, but the experience exceeded our expectations. We were impressed by the quality of the food, the excellent service, and, above all, the friendliness of the owner, a genuine and very kind man who makes you feel at home. The house wine is, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever tried; it's a place worth a visit. A 10/10 for the price and quality.

We made a last minute decision to come here, based on other reviews, and so happy we did. No booking, so didn’t get to sit outside (make a booking if you want guaranteed outside spot). Had the penne pasta, the pumpkin risotto special, and steak to share. One of the best meals so far in Italy. We had the house Cicirinella red wine with it and it was really good, got a few bottles to take on our travels with us. Forgot to get a photo of the steak, but it was delicious as well. Highly recommend this place, great food, great service and very reasonably priced.

I found the dishes well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and a strong connection to local tradition. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A great experience that deserves to be repeated.

Durante il nostro soggiorno a Salerno, abbiamo deciso di cenare in centro alla ricerca di sapori tipici del territorio. Dopo aver letto diverse recensioni positive, abbiamo scelto questo piccolo ristorantino, attratti dall’atmosfera raccolta e dalle lodi sul servizio. In effetti, l’accoglienza è stata calorosa e il personale gentile e disponibile fin dal nostro arrivo. Ci è stata proposta una bottiglia di vino della casa: gradevole, ma forse ci aspettavamo qualcosa di più considerata l’ampia selezione esposta. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, i primi piatti ci hanno un po’ deluso: le porzioni erano generose, ma il sapore troppo marcato di limone ha sovrastato il resto, al punto da ricordare più una crema pasticcera che un condimento per la pasta, anche se a base di cozze. Il secondo, seppur buono, era piuttosto contenuto nelle dimensioni. Nota positiva per i dolci: abbiamo assaggiato i babà e la millefoglie, entrambi davvero ben fatti e gustosi. In sintesi, un’esperienza piacevole grazie al servizio e all’ambiente, ma con aspettative forse troppo alte rispetto a quanto effettivamente offerto. Una revisione del menù, per valorizzare meglio la cucina locale, potrebbe fare la differenza.
