Arrived around 8 and were seated outside with our dog with no issue. Everybody was very nice and the food was delicious - we were even offered a to-go bag for our leftovers. The view from the terrace is amazing. A real treat!

An absolutely great home cooked meal in a beautiful setting. You will not leave hungry, even if you take the short walk to the nearby castle afterwards to exercise some of the cheesy polenta away. My recommendation is to go for the traditional menu and check out the wine list - it contains some interesting local additions. Special thank you to the friendly servers (and the family pets who made us feel very welcome ;))

Sono tornata in questo ristorante a distanza di trent’anni e nonostante il cambio di gestione è rimasto identico e anche il menù tipico della val d’Aosta. Un grazioso chalet sotto la rocca di chatillon . Ho mangiato polenta concia e carbonnade davvero buonissimi è una zuppa di verza e fontina Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi buoni.

I returned to this restaurant thirty years later and despite the change of management, the typical menu of the Aosta Valley has remained identical. A charming chalet under the Chatillon rock. I ate really delicious polenta concia and carbonnade, a cabbage and fontina soup Generous portions and good prices.

13/05/2025: Essendo in zona siamo andati a cena in questo locale curato con con un bel cammino caminetto. Il personale ci ha accolto benissimo e si è dimostrato professionale, menù giusto con piatti del territorio... ottimo il tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi.. prezzo giusto
