Really a nice surprise tried on the recommendation of a local friend, generous portions of high quality, super friendly staff! Polenta with meat and really excellent Aosta Valley crepes, textbook homemade apple strudel. Advised.

Restaurant in a typical Aosta Valley house.
Menu limited to traditional Aosta Valley dishes, very good. The polenta concia is excellent, the side meats are average. The bulk wine is good.

for 4 people on the lower floor, which is also comfortable and well designed and decorated.
warned of the generous portions, we ordered a first and second course each, but we split everything.
(1 portion of dish = 3/4 people)
excellent food and competent staff, I thought, if the restaurant was in the center of Aosta, it would make a great impression, but it would lose its aesthetics and beauty.

Dinner for two and we took a cheese platter and a cold cuts platter (around €20) but the portions were quite small.
Very poor wine selection, there were only two options out of 7 on the menu. Very good tanning polenta and a fair portion while the classic one, despite a very generous portion, is nothing special or particularly tasty.
Sausage in sauce good while the carbonara (beef) we had higher expectations, tough meat in a watery sauce, needed slower and longer cooking to allow the meat to be softer. Desserts (panna cotta and strudel) very good. Cost €88 for two
