The menu isn't overly extensive, but each dish is carefully crafted.
The location is a bit remote, but it's worth the trip.

A typical mountain hut. The traditional local dishes are very good and plentiful. Ample parking is available in front. The staff is young and attentive.

The young and friendly staff were attentive and service was quick despite the large number of tables they had to serve. The food was really good, the atmosphere was casual yet refined, and I highly recommend it!

A bit out of the way, but just a stone's throw from Ussel Castle, lies this small restaurant.
A masterpiece, well-hidden by the seemingly modest entrance, as is often the case in the Aosta Valley.
The menu is simple at first glance, but it features all the great valley tradition dishes: from polenta to carbonada, from sausage in red sauce to chicken cacciatore, and rabbit in civet.
The selection of ingredients is meticulously crafted, and the dishes are excellent.
The wine selection also features a few high-quality selections, offered at very fair prices.
The overall quality/price ratio is very good.
We also met a special person, Jenine, discreet, attentive, and kind—an added value not to be missed.

Sono tornata in questo ristorante a distanza di trent’anni e nonostante il cambio di gestione è rimasto identico e anche il menù tipico della val d’Aosta. Un grazioso chalet sotto la rocca di chatillon . Ho mangiato polenta concia e carbonnade davvero buonissimi è una zuppa di verza e fontina
Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi buoni.
