Intimate...welcoming place Refined and attentive service. Well-cooked seafood dishes with unique pairings. Excellent wines. Reasonably priced. I recommend the stuffed anchovies as an appetizer.

A restaurant connected to the hotel of the same name, right in front of the city walls. In my opinion, the decor is very simple and elegant. Spacious rooms, spacious tables, and properly set tables, with real tablecloths and napkins. Very professional, kind, and attentive staff. Perfect service. Due to time constraints, we couldn't stay for dinner, but we were truly amazed by the amazing value for money offered at lunch. Meticulously prepared dishes and a very extensive menu, quite unusual for similar offerings. A perfect choice, considering the restaurant was packed, and it deserves six stars. The cuisine is very high quality, with a delicious and balanced seafood salad and truly delicious trofie. The salmon and sea bream were perfect, I'd say. The portions were well-balanced, verging on the large (and therefore excellent). We also had two desserts, which were as good as the rest. I hope they maintain this lunch option for a long time to come. We'll definitely be back, perhaps for dinner as well. Probably one of the best seafood restaurants in Lucca. See you next time.

The restaurant is known primarily for its good-quality seafood dishes, in line with the price. The ambiance is elegant, but it could use some updating and a touch of personality, starting with the table setting. The wait was quite long. We waited about 45 minutes to be served, and only after asking. I noticed that the staff is even more friendly and helpful, especially if you're a regular customer. I recommend dining inside. The outdoor garden can be quite noisy, which doesn't really fit the restaurant's intended vibe. Overall, it's decent.

Excellent service, they offered a small appetizer at the beginning (a falafel shaped like a cookie with blueberry sauce, delicious) and a sorbet at the end. We had crispy shrimp and anchovies stuffed with pappa al pomodoro as an appetizer, and mixed fried fish and octopus with watermelon sorbet for the main course. Everything was spectacular, especially the anchovies and the soft octopus, all gourmet. With two bottles of water, we spent a total of €88, so I'd say it was very reasonable. In the bathroom, there are even small disposable towels, truly a finishing touch. The staff was delightful.
