There were a lot of people, but the pizza was ready quickly and delicious and also affordable, an ideal place for lunch or coffee 😎.

We ate here three days in a row as it was, by far, our favourite restaurant in the ski resort! Day 1: Casoncelli with deer was INCREDIBLE, porcini tagliatelle was so flavourful! To end a great meal a fantastic tiramisu, one of the best I had! Service was very fast around 1:45pm, took 5-7 minutes for the food to come, every single day. Staff was all VERY polite, smiling and friendly. Day 2: The second day we had spinach gnocchetti with veal pieces and lasagna; they were both excellent but the 7-layer lasagna was the real star of the show, creamy and meaty, albeit the portion was a little small, but perfect as a primo. Day 3: We had to repeat the lasagna as it’s the best I had in Italy! We also tried the broth with knodel, it was very hearty and homelike. The tagliata with herbs was also well cooked and tasty. Tiramisu third day in a row! Overall fair prices, a wonderful cosy vibe with excellent views of the mountains; would eat here again next time we come skiing!

The only flaw is that we had to wait an hour to order, to be honest the place was still full of people who kept arriving, it still seemed like an excessive wait. Good food and environment as well as the surrounding area worth visiting. From Valbione you can go up to Corno d'Aola at 2000m and go back down on foot or by chairlift. Ditto from Ponte di Legno to Valbione and vice versa.

A place that deserves to be reached and enjoyed in all its beauty and gastronomic goodness. I go there every time I go up to Passo del Tonale/Ponte di Legno.

Self service lunch... I ate chicken polenta and it was very good! Very kind staff... and eating in this place, in nature, is beautiful.

Specialità tipiche dei rifugi di montagna. Cucina casalinga e sevizio buono. Cordiali il personale, anche se dopo aver finito il pranzo "pressavano" per liberare il tavolo
