Like being at home with an Italian family who don't know English and don't understand you saying, no thanks. Charming and absolutely to be recommended. There was also good wine.

The restaurant has existed since 1968... I think the furnishings have essentially remained the same... stuck in the 70s. But we were looking for a restaurant where we could taste typical dishes and that's what we found. Pumpkin tortelli seasoned with butter and parmesan. Boiled served with mashed potatoes and sauces. Homely atmosphere, like the dishes we tasted. In my boiled meat there was very tender beef, tongue, cotechino, zampone, culatello and meatloaf. Of the sauces I really liked the mustard and tomato sauce. The green one a little salty for my taste. We'll be back for dessert...we couldn't make it! Adequate prices.

Il locale si presenta come una vecchia trattoria che ha mantenuto le tradizioni culinarie del luogo. Veloci nel servire anche con il locale completamente pieno. Provato il bollito….super e i ravioli. Buono anche il dolce. Conto giusto. Vale il viaggio!

Ottimo ristorante tipico. Specialità sono i bolliti! Introvabili. Ma qui ci sono e sono buonissimi. Il carrello è molto bello… e buono.

25/08/2024: What would Brescello be without Guareschi? Yet La Locomotiva Gastronomica also deserves a stop here: lots of courtesy and superlative dishes, lots of substance at the right price with the typical dishes of the area. Peppone and Don Camillo would definitely have eaten here.
