Ristorante Campisi In Pachino

We decided to try the top-rated restaurant in the beautiful, but unfortunately now over-touristy, Marzamemi; warm welcome, nice location, very busy, attentive service. The first courses were very good: pasta alla norma and cavatelli with tomato sauce and tuna, even the kids' dishes. There was a small glitch with the fried food, but they were very kind and quick to replace it! Perfect fried food! A delightful place that has maintained its quality, reasonable prices, and fortunately hasn't become a mass tourist attraction! Congratulations

I had dinner with my mom and our dog (who was very welcome) and we were absolutely delighted with everything. We had grilled octopus as an appetizer, which was truly exceptional! We then continued with spaghetti with sea urchins (EXCELLENT) and fried calamari and mixed seafood, which was also very tasty. The service was quick and attentive, and the atmosphere wasn't overly intimate, but was typical of a harborside restaurant. I'll definitely be back.

So I'd like to make a distinction between location, service, and food. The location is fine, with very simple wooden tables and fairly spacious rooms that overlook the sea from the inside. As for the service, I must say that the very young waiters were knowledgeable and friendly. The sore point, unfortunately, is the food, which is of questionable quality. There were five of us and we ordered everything based on fish, but I must say that there was absolutely nothing fresh; it was all frozen, well-disguised by the presentation at the table. In fact, on the menu you'll find asterisks for frozen products. Finally, the rather high price for just side dishes, four second courses, and one first course with water, two bottles of wine, and three coffees at €57 per person for a dinner of supermarket-quality fish is definitely not worth it. Whoever gave it 5-star ratings, I think, doesn't know how to distinguish fresh from frozen.

The quintessential tourist restaurant in Marzamemi. The raw fish is very good and interesting, but the first courses are a bit too elaborate and therefore lose the basic flavors, such as the sea urchins. Superlalivii desserts.

A beautiful place with friendly and professional staff. The products are fresh and excellent quality, especially the seared tuna, cooked to perfection and with attention to every detail. We also appreciated the recommended products in the store next door. The only small drawback is that they didn't have gift wrapping, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the products.

Campisi vuol dire storia e fama a Marzamemi, e no solo, poichè da Milano ci hanno consigliato di fare visita. Abbiamo trovato ciò che ci aspettavamo, cibo ottimo, fresco con un servizio all'altezza della fama. Atmosfera rilassata in una località con paesaggio da urlo. Tempo di attesa e costi nella norma. Nonostante la giornata ventosa, siamo riusciti ad assaporare l'atmosfera marinara.
