I would like to point out that before writing this review I reserved the right to enjoy almost the entire repertoire of Calypso's culinary melodies. After that only two words came to mind: Pure inspiration! A few times I felt the sea in my mouth... At Calypso this sensation was constant every time. For those who love to taste 'real' 'fresh' fish I believe it is essential to book a table in this magical place of taste: I agree with those who define it as "the best restaurant in the Tyrrhenian area of ​​Cosenza". The owners and all the staff are exquisitely helpful: I recommend asking for suggestions, I have always been satisfied in following them. The romantic veranda overlooking the sea is the icing on the cake. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a candlelit dinner. Hats off to this place of poetic inspiration of taste.

There is nothing I love more than the winter sea... but if you add an exceptional view, a super warm welcome, divine cuisine and a romantic climate, you reach heavenly levels. The chef creates and combines unique combinations and you can see all the love in the dishes that arrive at the table... super recommended.

Yesterday's dinner was famous, first after a small mistake (on our part), we were served baby calamari as an appetizer in a way that we have never had before, we were quite surprised, we originally wanted fried food, but the calamari in tomato sauce was great, then grilled octopus with mozzarella Buffala - a great combination with Tropea onions, 2x tuna without a mistake with a small mistake for my friend, it was undercooked, I finished this piece - divine, my wife had tartare di salmone, again without a mistake, the service was nice and helpful, the only mistake was that the portion of the octopus could have been a little bigger, it was so good that I would have eaten a double portion, the prices in this area are a little bigger but corresponding to the quality, we will try to return before we leave, I keep my fingers crossed for the staff to keep their high bar

Piacevole scoperta fatta la scorsa primavera! Ormai andare a cena al Calypso è diventata una routine. Cibi ottimi e pesce di qualità. Personale gentile che viene incontro a qualsiasi richiesta. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Super consigliato!

Carina la location ...niente di eccezionale. Lo stesso a dirsi per la cucina...ho trovato pessima la frittura di moscardini e altrettanto pessima l'impepata di cozze... Buono il primo alle vongole. L'antipasto quasi avrebbe la sufficienza se non avesse un prezzo veramente troppo spropositato rispetto alla qualità e alla quantità di quanto offerto. Insomma...in un posto di mare di questo tipo mi aspettavo ben altro... Si mangia nella stessa maniera (mediocre) ovunque... Non ci tornerei mai.
