Ristorante Caffe' Garibaldi In Vicenza

Perfect location, shame about the service. The waiters, let's call them that, are young men who don't even know what it means to be a waiter. Very disappointed. What a fool I'd look if I brought someone to this restaurant. The food was decent.

Let me start by saying that I frequent Michelin-starred restaurants and bistros, and if I compare the service I've had, I have to say, unfortunately, it's not up to par. The place is elegant and the location is worth it. When I arrived, it was packed, and shortly afterward, a table in front of the bar became available, so I sat down, expecting the staff to come clean and clear the table of previous customers' drinks. Unfortunately, after a good 10 minutes, we were still there waiting. Meanwhile, people had started to leave in the outdoor area with the glass window, so I asked the staff again if there was a table available. They sat me down, and it took another 10 minutes to place my order and 15 minutes to bring a barley macchiato, a hazelnut and crunchy mousse, and a negroni to my table. The products were high-quality, but such a long wait is not appropriate for the quality of the place, I'm sorry!

It's a beautiful bar located in a lovely corner of Piazza dei Signori in front of the Basilica Palladiana. It's a shame the service isn't up to par.

It's an excellent, renovated bar, overlooking the main square. It's all glass, with comfortable seating, and very elegant. Prices are a bit high, but you're in the city center with that great view. Quick orders and quality products. I really liked that it's almost entirely glass. Great for an afternoon tea/coffee break, but I'm not sure what the food is like.

Great food, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and evening. I highly recommend it if you are around, it is not cheap but you get a great food for it.

Fantastic location and food. The spaghetti with lamb ragù was exceptional. The salted caramel cheesecake was also excellent.

Impeccable aperitivo! Garibaldi exudes a refined atmosphere, without being overly formal. The staff is fast, friendly, and always attentive. The selection of cocktails and appetizers is interesting and sophisticated. The mini-dessert served to us at the end was a delicious surprise. A perfect place to start an evening in the center of Vicenza.
