A beautiful experience with some room for improvement We came to Butterfly with high expectations, and overall, the evening was truly enjoyable. The restaurant is elegant and charming—surrounded by greenery, well-maintained, and with a refined atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. According to the official website, the restaurant has held a Michelin star since 2008, in recognition of the creativity of its cuisine, the elegance of its spaces, and attentive but not rigid service. Here are the aspects we appreciated most—and some suggestions for what we think could be improved: ✅ Strengths • Food and tasting menu: The dishes were well-executed, with quality ingredients and an interesting balance between technique and flavor. The tasting menu—"Food and Emotions"—proved coherent and stimulating. • Service: The staff was attentive, courteous, and professional. We felt welcomed; the service guided us throughout the evening without ever being too intrusive. • Atmosphere and hospitality: The restaurant has a unique charm, with well-designed interiors and exteriors. The setting lends a special dimension to the moment. ⚠️ Observation to be reviewed • Drink pairing: This is the only aspect where, in our opinion, the restaurant could improve. The idea of ​​pairing wines with each course is commendable, but the way it was presented seemed a bit excessive, both in terms of variety and cost. Perhaps a more limited pairing or alternative options would have made the experience even more balanced. 💡 Conclusion Despite the small criticism regarding the pairing, overall we had a very good time. It's a restaurant that deserves to be, especially if you appreciate high-quality cuisine and attentive service. We're giving it 4 stars with conviction, because we believe that with an overhaul of the approach to drinks, Butterfly could truly elevate itself even further.

This restaurant is a Michelin-starred restaurant with a capital "M." The location is truly enchanting: an ancient Tuscan farmhouse, perfectly and tastefully renovated. We opted for two seafood tasting menus, and each dish was better than the last; special mention, however, goes to the risotto, which was truly amazing. We paired our dinner with a Louis Roederer 245 Champagne, served with passion and elegance. Regarding the price, our tasting menus cost €120 each, perfectly in line with the competition.
