Great experience, atmosphere, staff and food were really excellent.

It was a small little place but the food was out of expectation. I ordered the grilled seabass, gnocchi salmon, carbonara and tiramisu. My favorite out of all is the carbonara. It's simple yet flavorful. I think I would probably missed this place if I didn't see the reviews. The only thing that caught me off guard was the water charges. Even though my group only got 1 bottle of water, the restaurant charge €3 person. There's also a 10-15% charge for the lights and stuff, similar to taxes.

Excellent food and service. The Tuscan soup with semolina deserves 10 stars. What a pleasant discovery. I'd go back!

If you want to try high-quality meat and excellent wines, come here. It's a nice, quiet place.

A historic restaurant near the train station, right behind the central post office building. The location is a bit retro (it was more or less like that when I went there as a child with my father), but it's clean and tidy. The menu is very traditional, featuring typical Pisan and Tuscan dishes, with a few "tourist treats" like lasagna, carbonara, and more. Dishes are carefully prepared, tasty, and generous in portions. I tried the macaroni with Chianina ragù, the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, and the tripe. The wine list is disappointing, despite the seemingly well-stocked and plentiful cellar, which wasn't at all. A shame. The service is courteous, but they aren't particularly careful about not mentioning what's listed on the menu but isn't available: two desserts and two wine labels were missing. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food.

The place is a bit dated, but the food is good, reasonably priced, and the service is excellent. Recommended.

The food is good, and it's served quite quickly. They also have various dishes (I tried the Bordatino soup, which was a nice surprise). The lasagna and the grilled meat are also very good. I don't recommend the fried seafood though (too heavy).

A very pleasant experience at this quiet restaurant. Attentive and professional servers. No major surprises or complaints about the food. Several dishes were a bit too salty, however. One small suggestion: serving diners all at once would be more enjoyable, rather than sequentially. Overall, a decent place. Worth discovering, if only for the creaking of the kitchen door playing the Austin Powers theme...
