One of the Best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of eating at. Impeccable service, chef was hands on throughout explaining the dishes that she clearly puts her heart and soul into. An absolute gem of a place.

It happens that one red-stamped August morning your husband says to you: "Why don't we try that restaurant you were telling me about in Montespertoli? Will it be available for lunch?" You do a quick check and notice that it's open and has a limited but interesting menu.
It happens that you go there and are literally blown away. Yes, they told you the food was good, but you weren't expecting "superbly" good. It all starts with the bread basket, which has bread and soft schiacciata made by the chef (cheffa), and that detail alone already earns me many stars. The spaghettini with sardines and fennel, which I initially didn't want because it has tomato sauce (because I don't like pasta dishes in red), are an explosion of deliciousness. Yes, a pasta dish in red, if done well, crosses the finish line without even seeing the competition. They were truly good. The tuna tartare was very fresh and delicious. Chef Marcella, whom I thanked in person, truly knows her stuff, and her passion for cooking frames her face with a halo of saintliness. Her husband in the dining room expertly and kindly drives the Ferrari engine that arrives from the kitchen. If I could give it a 5 with honors, I would. I can't imagine the ecstasy you reach with the dinner. I finished with an excellent lemon gelato. I will remember this scorching August day for this experience. Thank you ♥️

Ho pranzato in questo bistrot non molto tempo fa. Ho avuto la sfortuna di capitare nel locale un giorno festivo ovvero quando anche a pranzo le proposte non erano del giorno ma quelle della carta della sera.
Altra sfortuna, non amo il pesce ed il menù alla carta ( a differenza di quello del pranzo settimanale) è quasi del tutto incentrato sul pesce.
Apprezzo lo sforzo di rendere ogni piatto declinabile in versione senza glutine ma forse ci vorrebbe qualche accorgimento in più.
I ravioli senza glutine ( pasta fatta in casa sia chiaro) erano crudi ( nelle chiusure del raviolo c’era ancora della farina). Anche la focaccia un po’ troppo dura, a mio parere.
Molto buono invece l’entrèe ed il dolce.
I prezzi, del menu alla carta sia chiaro, sono troppo elevati per una proposta che non è ancora perfetta come tali prezzi richiederebbero.
