This palace is simply stunning. While my husband was busy at the LNS-INFN, I identified a series of places to visit. Catania's beauty exceeded my wildest expectations, but no place has remained in my heart and memory more than this palace. I was welcomed by Ruggero Moncada himself, who led me through the various rooms on an almost exclusive tour, with great savoir faire, wit, and self-deprecation that speak volumes about the person you're talking to. I left Palazzo Biscari completely captivated.
