Guided tour led by an heir of the Biscari family, priced at €10. The tour is very interesting, considering the rooms you visit and the story of the noble family's evolution over the centuries. The music room is fantastic. The tour lasts approximately one hour and 30 minutes. I highly recommend it if you're in Catania.

An essential piece of history. One of the emblems of a people's reconstruction, when "holy alliances" were formed between aristocrats, the Church, local craftsmen, and great artists.

Palazzo Biscari is one of the finest examples of Catania's Baroque style and the largest private palace in the city.
It was built after the 1693 earthquake by the Paternò Castello family, princes of Biscari.
It stands along the ancient city walls and features rich interiors, with stucco, frescoes, and Rococo decorations.
The Salone delle Feste is the most famous room, designed for receptions and performances.
The palace is open to the public, for a fee, and also hosts cultural events and guided tours.

A beautiful entrance that opens onto an internal courtyard from the main door.
Entering the building, you can admire various paintings before arriving at a room that will leave you speechless, as will the staircase you can see on the right.
I recommend a visit.

Definitely take the guided tour, about 30 minutes in Italian and English. A significant Baroque palace. The ballroom is particularly impressive. The orchestra used to ascend via a wave-shaped staircase. The exterior facades, made of limestone, are also noteworthy. Originally, the palace was situated right on the water.

Yes, from the way it looks upon arrival...a masterpiece.
The last room leaves you speechless.
And the staircase at the end on the right, speechless.
It's definitely worth a visit.
