Ristorante Biscari In Catania

Palazzo Biscari is the most interesting patrician residence in Catania still inhabited by heirs and by consulting the owners it can be visited. Most of the collections have been lost, in the visitable rooms you can admire paintings portraits of members of the princely family, furniture and furnishings from the 18th century. The music room is famous, a masterpiece of Sicilian Rococo, interesting decorations and stuccos. Negative note: the markets inside the palace. Very ironic guide.

It is undoubtedly worth a visit but with a guide who "tells" the story of the family. Then if you are lucky like me the guide could be the host...TOP

Beautiful old royal house and still privately owned. The condition is absolutely well maintained and worth seeing, with a fantastic view of the cathedral from the terrace. Plan your visit well, as it is only open for a few days and for a short period of time!

Worth seeing... if you are lucky enough to take the guided tour with the descendant of Count Biscari... even better... a very knowledgeable and fun person.
