A modern and welcoming place, the restaurant room is wonderful and the "external" dehors are a further added value; here the large windows let in the sunlight while the wooden structure gives the right amount of privacy to the diners. The dining room staff is young, smiling and attentive, willing to exchange a few words between the various courses. The result is a perfectly professional service, never excessively haughty but pleasant and elegant. Well done! .
The "PORTA NUOVA" tasting is surprising; the alternation of courses based on vegetables, fish and meat creates a light, perfectly balanced and rich in flavours. There are many "impressive" courses which are completed/plated directly at the table by the dining room staff, as in the case of the soufflé; really very scenic. The selection of wines paired with the tasting is also excellent; honorable mention for the passito wine served with dessert.
Special thanks to the Chef for his willingness to meet the guests after the service; which was really very welcome.

Attentive staff, ingenious food, good price for this level of hospitality. The eel, risotto, and prawns were standouts. The pièce de résistance was the yogurt and mango egg.

At dinner on Saturday evening with the "Porta Nuova" tasting menu, therefore the most classic one, we were guided and pampered by the dining room staff in a masterly manner, both in the presentation of the dishes and the wines, food and dishes that won us approval and emotions for the flavour, presentation and ideas, making us amazed by their creation, then as a last gem, much appreciated, a greeting in the kitchen directly from the chef, fantastic experience

Tutto è stato ineccepibile. Accoglienza discreta e garbata. Tavoli ben distanziati tra loro. Servizio in sala attento, preciso e mai invadente. Piatti ottimi, equilibrati, ben presentati. Lo chef Berton era in cucina con la sua brigata e questo a mio avviso è un plus. Sicuramente da riprovare.

PS: I requested to take away my leftover bread to avoid food waste, but instead, they generously gave me an entirely new loaf. Definitely great place to eat with outstanding service. We had a signature menu (which consists of their very best dishes as I understand) and also business lunch, everything was very good, but not everything was WOW. Risotto from business lunch was much better than pizzaiola risotto from signature menu, roasted eel has deeply dissapointed me (I'm a big fan of unagi). Desserts from signature menu were not good enough while chocolate cake with mint sorbe was very surprising. In general we enjoyed our meals very much, bust expected a little bit more from this highly rated place.
