The restaurant itself is in a very nice location and also well decorated, however the quality of the food and the price are not really up to par. The cold cuts served as a starter are decidedly mediocre, and I don't understand how this is possible given the high level of cured meats that can be found in the Oltrepò Pavia area: why choose mediocrity? The pumpkin pie with taleggio fondue is excellent. Risotto with mushrooms cooked well, but here too the choice of raw materials is very basic, when you could aim for much more in terms of choice of mushrooms. The roast was the real sore point: tough meat, difficult to swallow. I don't want to exaggerate, but it reminded me of the taste of roast meat eaten in canteens. I cannot comment on the wines because they are not included in a menu, so I was not able to evaluate the restaurant's offer. The waiters were good at managing the room and the service. In conclusion, a place with enormous potential but which we have chosen to manage "Pavese style": mediocrity is enough because people come anyway. A real shame. Cost 65 euros for two starters, first and second course, dessert and wine
