If you want some of the best quality Italian food this is definitely a place to go to. Although just a little bit more expensive than other places in resort, It is definitely worth every single penny and still very reasonably priced at around €25 per head (excluding drinks)

We went for dinner one evening during Carnival. The restaurant is right in the center, quite nice, and doesn't have a lot of seating, which is certainly a plus. The service was friendly and very quick. We had excellent ravioli alla carbonara, superb cod in oil (a slightly small portion for the price), venison stew with polenta that could be improved, a bit tough and fatty, then the phenomenal Basque cheesecake and tiramisu. Prices were in line with other similarly sized restaurants in Alagna.

The historic Unione Alagnese building, originally a theater in 1900, now houses this restaurant in one of its welcoming rooms. The cuisine is meticulously selected, focusing on local ingredients and a modern twist. Excellent dishes, a wide selection of wines, and a friendly, professional service await. Don't miss it, and on your way out, buy a book to raise funds for Alagna's new ambulance!

In Alagna, a must-visit, and a must-visit at least once during every visit. A wonderful place, beautifully decorated with fascinating memorabilia. The atmosphere is quiet, despite always being very popular, especially with families with children. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and willing to chat. The dishes are carefully prepared, using quality ingredients, mostly local. The desserts are also delicious and varied. The wine list is excellent, though admittedly a bit pricey. Make sure to book!
