Another great find—steeped in old-world charm. The Italian dishes were delicious and well-executed, the service attentive, and the atmosphere timeless and welcoming. I’m already looking forward to going back.

A typical mountain restaurant, an elegant restaurant in a RIGHTLY rustic setting—we're in the mountains! The food was excellent, the service very professional and fast.
We ordered risotto, and it arrived in 15-20 minutes, although rice isn't quick to cook. Spectacular appetizers and a wide selection of wines, especially reds.

Very friendly staff. Very clean. Food was amazing. We had beef with polenta and trout with vegetables. We also had the salad. I wish I had taken a picture, because it was so beautiful, fresh, and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

We dined at Ristorante Unione, one of the most sought-after spots during our stay in Alagna, choosing their exquisite Raclette, available by reservation only. The dish was accompanied by a good selection of pickles, cured meats (including their own carne salada), taragna polenta, and new potatoes with their skins on. The traditional atmosphere was filled with Alagna memorabilia and history, and the service was friendly. Delicious cheese, generous portions, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We'll definitely be returning.

FOOD: Very good. The selection includes typical local dishes. The "raviolette alagnesi" were spectacular. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms was very tasty. The cheesecake was one of the best I've ever tasted. There are vegetarian options on the menu.
SERVICE: Everyone was very friendly. We had two children, and they even set the table for them.

Very nice and welcoming restaurant. Prices are too high for the quality and portions.
I ordered a mixed salad, but since it was 80% arugula, it was decidedly bitter. The paccheri with white ragù (watery) didn't bind well with the pasta. Furthermore, the pasta was of mediocre quality because it was sticky.
I may have been unlucky, but €15 for this first course seems way too much.

Excellent lunch experience here, we came as was recommended by one of the staff at our hotel. The locals refer to this place as "Unione Alagnese", the historical name of the building. They have a lovely terrace which is nice to enjoy lunch outdoor during the summer. They have a cheese raclette dish (for 2 pax) which needs to be pre-ordered. So please make a booking and pre-order the raclette. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful.

Cena in un locale storico nel centro di Alagna Valsesia! Il menù dispone di 4/5 pietanze (antipasto/primo/secondo). Purtroppo non siamo riusciti a provare (solo su prenotazione) la specialità del ristorante...la raclette!!!
