From the outside it looks like an inconspicuous cafe. But this is a family run little restaurant with the most delicious food we have eaten in Italy. We spent 4 days in Mestre and went there for dinner every day because it was so delicious. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. The products are fresh. The owners: a man and a woman, really speak little English, but this never stopped us from having a delicious meal. We understood each other perfectly. On the 4th last day we were greeted very warmly, my husband was hugged 3 times. This is the only good memory from Mestre and one of the best in Italy in general. My personal favorites are carbonara and tiramisu. I don’t know how they did it, but their Aperol was the most delicious.
