Ristorante da Gino is a historic and famous restaurant in the area, a must-try for lovers of Umbrian-Tuscan cuisine, especially lake fish dishes. The restaurant is located on the beach of Lake Chiusi. The service is excellent and professional. The food is high-quality and unpretentious. The only small flaw is the decor, but the retro atmosphere is still in keeping with the setting.

The atmosphere is warm and truly Italian, making you feel like you’re dining in a family-run trattoria in the heart of Italy. Excellent service and incredibly friendly staff make the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! You have to visit at least once in your life — and don’t forget to make a reservation!

Among the best pici all'aglione, maiangiati! The place is definitely stuck in the '80s, the service is a bit slow, but nothing that will stop me from coming back again! Very fair prices.

25/08/2025: We discovered this restaurant by chance a few years ago, and since then, whenever we can in Tuscany, we try to make the most of the opportunity to stop by. Excellent food, with attention to detail and top-quality ingredients. Mrs. Francoise is always friendly and prepares unmissable desserts.
05/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene: si poteva apprezzare la qualità dei prodotti e la cura nel prepararli; le porzioni giuste e calibrate. Consigliati i pici! Purtroppo non possiamo dare cinque stelle a causa della freddezza (o maleducazione) con cui siamo stati accolti e che ha contraddistinto il servizio di tutta la serata. Se il cibo ci avrebbe spinto a ritornare e consigliare, il servizio non ce lo farà fare. Peccato
