I was there last week for a baptism, we ate really well from the starter to the dessert, we didn't have the second course because we were full from the exceptional raw and marinated fish starters, in my opinion one of the best restaurants I've tried, compliments to the staff and especially to the chef

On a friend's recommendation, we tried this restaurant with high expectations, but were disappointed. The atmosphere was refined and clean, and the wait staff were friendly but distracted and/or inexperienced, with the exception of the owner and the sommelier. They brought water, bread, and olive oil at different times, and they made mistakes, even at other tables. The first courses arrived tasteless, a fact confirmed both by other tables who sent them back and by the owner, who admitted her mistake—truly admirable honesty. The portions were adequate and flavorful, but we didn't get that extra something we expected. The desserts were few and far between, and the wine list was excellent.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, the service was attentive, and the cuisine was excellent, well-prepared, and flavorful. In addition to the owner's professionalism, I also want to give credit to the young but highly trained waiters. A must try!

It was a delightful discovery. The cuisine was excellent, with authentic flavors, the ambiance was meticulously designed, and the young man who served us was very knowledgeable and professional, and you could tell he loved his job. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

Like all my reviews, this one also evaluates the restaurant based on price. Let's start with the decor: Aurelio is a truly well-kept restaurant; the rooms are quite spacious, clean, and meticulously designed, with well-spaced tables. The service is quite attentive; we went on a Saturday for lunch and it wasn't busy... so I say "fairly" because I hope that, if it's busy, there's at least one more experienced waiter, otherwise they'd struggle. We still appreciated both the young woman, who's fairly new, and the young man, who's quite nice and very friendly with the girls. The food is... okay. The dishes are definitely sophisticated, and let's face it, if you come here, you have to eat fish because other options are almost entirely absent from the menu. I say "okay" because the dishes are good, and that's not a problem, but the problem is that if the first courses cost 25 euros and the second courses around 30, the dishes don't just have to be good, they have to be exceptional (maybe not all of them, but a WOW factor is a must for a restaurant in Martinengo at these prices). We tried both first and second courses; the dessert selection was limited (and there was no menu; they mentioned it verbally, which I think is out of place with their style of dining). You can see the dishes in the photos... are they worth the price? Unfortunately, in my opinion, not (especially some, like the calamari). Maybe I just had a bad day with the chef, which is understandable. Or maybe the menu rotates, and this wasn't the wow factor. Maybe I'll give it a second chance, but €180 for two adults and two children, without wine, is a lot.

I booked a dinner through The Fork and asked, if possible, for a heart or flower at the table as a symbol of our 34th wedding anniversary. We found exactly what we requested on the table—very kind indeed! The location is romantic and well-appointed. The hospitality, service, and helpfulness of the owner, sommelier, and staff were beyond reproach; they were highly competent and always ready to check on the table and accommodate guests. The quality of the food was excellent, the plating was impressive, and a round of applause for the chef. We were treated truly well and were gifted with some delicacies. Thanks to the staff for their kindness and for taking the time to celebrate our anniversary. We highly recommend you go! You deserve more than 5 stars!

Where you wouldn't expect it, a Sicilian seafood restaurant truly worth trying! A modern, elegant yet casual location, the menu features traditional Sicilian cuisine and dishes, primarily seafood (excellent ingredients!), accompanied by an extensive wine list featuring both Italian and international selections. The young and friendly "family" service is highly appreciated, and the hostess's recommendations are sure to make you feel at ease. It's not the first time I've been there, and it won't be the last!
