Ristorante con una spiccata personalità da bistrot raffinato. Piatti che si concentrano sulla tradizione milanese, oltre a proposte di cucina mediterranea. Il risotto è tra i migliori mai provati, così come tutti i piatti che ho provato in questi anni che lo frequento abbastanza regolarmente.
Lista dei vini ampia, ricarichi corretti.
Servizio celere e professionale svolto da camerieri che sono lì da sempre.
Il solo difetto è che i tavoli sono troppo vicini, un pò più di spazio non guasterebbe.

I always think, unfairly or not, that the first meal you have when you’re traveling abroad just has to be perfect. Stendhal Milano delivered in that regard. Ever so slightly off the beaten path where the crowds gather, this restaurant was filled with mostly locals it seemed, with a few tourists thrown in. The service was extremely professional and friendly as well as helpful. The Cotolleto was perfection. Same with Osso Buco and risotto. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a place for dinner for two on a Friday night in Milan, and what a surprise to stumble upon this gem. A very charming place, with very welcoming staff. We were able to get a table in the dining room after less than 10 minutes of waiting. The bartender offered me a select spritz that I loved!
The place is very charming and has a large terrace.
For dinner, the portions are generous. We ordered the famous Milanese cutlet and the saffron risotto, both delicious!
The waiters were attentive, and the owner, very friendly, came to see us at the table to make sure we had everything we needed.
In short, a very good restaurant that deserves its rating! I'll be back :)

Stendhal Milano is a true tribute to Milanese culture. A cozy, elegant spot where tradition meets charm. The ambiance is warm and refined, filled with thoughtful details that reflect a love for 19th-century European culture. I had the cotoletta, and it was incredible—crispy, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
A special mention to Enrico, the heart of the place. Talking to him was a real pleasure, he’s cultured, passionate, and full of fascinating stories. Ask him about the origin of the restaurant’s name it’s worth it!
If you’re into authentic Milanese cuisine and love a refined but relaxed atmosphere, Stendhal is a must-visit. Perfect for anyone who wants to taste the real Milan.

Perfectly cooked steak and perfect pasta. The bread before the meal is also delicious and the balsamic is really delicious. I recommend making a reservation and visiting this local restaurant.

A solid 5-star. Classic risotto dishes and meat cuts.
Attentive staff and fast service.
Cozy locale but the energetic level of noise makes it hard to have a conversation,
I enjoed the filetto al pepe verde.
The 3 meat agnolotti are underwhelming.
Generous portions.
