Good Italian lunch place, half half locals and tourists. Nice risotto, nice pasta, nice salad. Only negative would be the 13 euros charged for some fries and truffle mayonnaise. It was good, but not 13 euros good! Especially as it was initially served with regular mayonnaise.

Came here as Canadian tourists. The space itself is really nice, the atmosphere a cross between a lively bistro and a fine dining restaurant. The food was great, and the agnolotti was a standout. We found the service adequate, however not once was our wine bottle served to us, and we had to pour our own wine. Otherwise they were attentive , timely and polite.

We had a wonderful dinner here with a welcoming atmosphere of the owner. It’s a bit more pricy but you’ll get the quality for it.

Risotto alla Milanese piu buono: taste, texture, color, plating - perfect. The service is also really friendly and the place is great.

The food was EXCEPTIONAL. We had a lovely evening at Stendhal. We were on our way back home after spending a few days in italy and this was by far the best food we had! So that says a lot. We will be back for sure!

Traveled to Milan for summer break with the family and tried Stendhal based on various reviews. Was seated on the outdoor patio which was very comfortable and super cute. Service was prompt and attentive. After a big day walking the town we had a big appetite and ordered several dishes. Starters included the Burrata, Caprese, Prosciutto and Melon, Mondeghilli tradizionali. All of the starters were tasty but our favorite was the Prosciutto and Melon. The prosciutto had the perfect amount of the saltiness to counter a very ripe and sweet melon. The mondeghilli had a nice sauce to it in a perfect bite size shape. For entrees, we had the Ossobuco with risotto, Veal Milanese, Agnoletti, Il Condiglione, and Risotto Al rosmarino con crudo di porcini. The ossobuco was the star, especially with the Risotto "giallo" Milano pairing. The meat was super tender and well flavored. The Risotto Milano was very flavorful and perfectly prepared as was the other risotto dish we ordered. The Agnoletto was also very tasty with the trio of meats complimenting each to form a perfect pasta dumpling with beef sauce. We finished with a lemon sorbet and fruit cup. Was a great meal in a nice July evening dining outdoors.

Locale molto carino e curato in zona Brera. Offre piatti della cucina tradizionale milanese e non solo! Ottimo il servizio e la professionalità del personale. Un particolare grazie a Vincenzo per la sua cordialità e simpatia: queste sono le persone che fanno la differenza. Ci torneremo anche per lui!

Tornare a Milano e non tornare da Stendhal sarebbe…. "imperdonabile” … clienti abituali da anni non possiamo che confermare ed apprezzare, ancora una volta, l’ onestà e la coerenza dell’ ottima ristorazione tradizionale - senza alcuna strizzata d’ occhio a quell’ innovazione che, in certi piatti, sarebbe solo una…nota stonata…- Piatti, quindi, dall’ esecuzione impeccabile, materie prime impiegate di ottima qualità, porzioni giuste per lasciar soddisfatti senza alcun “senso di sazietà”. Atmosfera calda ed accogliente con buona musica di sottofondo, personale professionale, gentile e sorridente e, soprattutto, attento ad ogni richiesta del cliente.
