The staff are very friendly, but I don't think we will return. The customers make too much noise and shout, the environment is intimate therefore it is very noisy.
It took us a long time to eat, we didn't complain... but grandfather had a lot of trouble staying at the table all that time.
The food was good, especially the meat. Vegetables not so much. But the cuisine is a type of cuisine that is more home-made and essential than sophisticated, and in my opinion the price of the dishes is too high. A little less would sound better!

I leave out what I found discreet (encore of ravioli+strozzapreti and Bologna cutlet) to highlight an excellence: a homemade cream tart - still warm - truly amazing!

Delicious and authentic food. We stayed outside of Bologna in a Bed and Breakfast where our kind host Nella recommended us to go here for a traditional meal. I recommend to make reservations ahead of time. First they brought out an aperitif of mortadella blended with butter on crostini which was delightful. I ordered tortellini in broth, so comforting and satisfying. Our server explained the broth cooks for many hours. The recipes they use are from her Nonna….wow, we could tell. My husband ordered gnocchi with ragu and pomodoro. The absolute best gnocchi we have ever had in our lives. Although I’ve had gnocchi before, this was truly the first time I’ve actually eaten gnocchi - like pillows in your mouth. For our entree we shared the beef bolognese (schnitzel) and also paired with the fried potatoes. For dessert we tried the zuppa inglese, we didn’t like that very much. For wine, we ordered the house red (Sangiovese) and it was absolutely delicious.

My favorite place ever!
The food is all excellent, the pasta is handmade, the atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, I believe the waiter is also the owner, he is a delightful person, very attentive and super professional!!

Piccola osteria con pochi coperti e qualità del cibo ottima. Sempre una garanzia.
Nonostante io non sia il proprietario, ci tengo a riprendere la recensione del Sig. Bloom: noi eravamo alcuni dei clienti che si sono lamentati: i bambini completamente ingestiti mentre i genitori parlavano tra loro o guardavano i cellulari. Probabilmente invece che sentirsi insultato come genitore bisognerebbe farsi un esame di coscienza, chiedere scusa e finirla lì… attaccarsi ad un sovrapprezzo, tra l’altro, specificato nel menù non ha molto senso.
Un consiglio ai neo genitori: andate al ristorante prima oppure, se non siete capaci di gestire i vostri figli, lasciateli a casa con i nonni.
Noi torneremo di sicuro!
