The hotel's structure and location are great. The hosts at the reception during check-in and the night shift were super polite — really appreciated that. However, the owner was a bit too strict.
I'm an artist, and I always need a little flexibility with check-out times. I asked her, “What's the latest regular check-out time?” She said 10:30 a.m. I smiled and asked, “Would it be possible to make it 11?” She replied, without a smile, “Yes, but you need to pay 20 euros.”
That was honestly the first time in my life I've been charged just for an extra 30 minutes. Also, it would be great if there were at least some complimentary water in the room. 🙏🏾

Unfortunately, your response demonstrates not so much a difficulty in accepting constructive criticism, but rather a desire to point out rather than listen. Keep emphasizing the word "artist": I mentioned it not to ask for different treatment, but simply to make it clear that I played until late morning, always politely and with a smile. My request for confirmation lasted a minute, not thirty.
If the goal is to be "eco-friendly," then it would have been helpful to specify that there are water dispensers throughout the facility: that's hospitality. Or perhaps you're only used to guests with a lot of free time or tourists who enjoy hiking and can explore everything at their leisure.
I kindly invite you to check out the smell coming from the bathroom: there's obviously something wrong with the plumbing.
Regarding the gym, let me point out that a bicycle, a mat, and a wall with two cables do not constitute a "gym": perhaps it would be more honest to remove this wording from the description out of respect for the guests.
Finally, regarding your barber metaphor: sure, I pay him for my beard, but if I ask him to trim my eyebrows, he certainly doesn't charge extra.
In the hotels I've stayed at before, I've been granted a 30-minute check-out grace period, always with a smile. Do you know why? Because they know what it means to truly welcome and build relationships.

This was my first time at this property; I immediately received a wonderful welcome, including a very quick resolution to a logistical issue I had caused. No hesitation, just an overwhelming amount of courtesy. Quiet, clean, and tidy, with spacious, welcoming rooms. Just a stone's throw from Bassano del Grappa, nestled in the quiet of the Venetian Prealps. A simple breakfast with quality local products. You'll feel pampered... especially if you use the spa, which, while not huge, has everything you need to refresh and relax: sauna, Turkish bath, ice shower, sensory shower with Alpine flowers and herbs, whirlpool... and Prosecco, a great relaxing touch! We'll definitely be back, as it's worth it, especially considering the excellent Sant'Eusebio restaurant. Thanks to the owner, Roberto, and the entire staff.

The management is wonderful. The restaurant is spectacular. Excellent location with parking and a mountain view, and a ten-minute walk from the center of Bassano, along a riverside walk through the woods. Clean and tidy rooms. Maybe it just needs a few floors freshened up, but...highly recommended.

Decent hotel. Very friendly staff. Popular with cyclists. The rooms are very large. There's plenty of closet space for clothes. The restaurant is one of my favorites. The food is excellent. Breakfast is also good. I recommend it.

We stood as a business group at Alla Corte for 2 nights. I felt very good overall in the hotel.
The room was very clean, spacious, nice design and the bathroom was top, with all functioning perfectly.
Breakfast was on a scale from 0 to 10, at 7. Delicious and fresh, but the lack of a simple omlette was strange. Maybe the variety could have been also better. A special appreciation for the very nice waitress that was so quick and nice to refill the empty plates on the buffet.
The hotel is located around 2km away from city center, but directly on the road to some extraordinary roadbike routes in the mountains (if you are in for bike rides). And they also have bike rentals and bike hotel right there. 👍
So all in all, a very pleasant stay and I would definitely spend few days again there with my family.

The rooms are spacious but poorly soundproofed. Very friendly staff. The location isn't very close to the city center, but there's convenient parking.
