I ate at the Ristorante in the evening. I found the dishes (pasta, then rabbit and vegetables) good, not exceptional. The service ditto. In my opinion, price/performance is also average.

It's not only a magnificent and delicious restaurant it's a food experience!
The food is the perfect mix between traditional of the territory and art! Every plate is a result of an idea perfectly expressed and perfectly done by the chef and the daughter. If you are in, or near, the Langhe area you have to try this restaurant, also because the view is breathtaking and the staff in very kind and friendly. In addition there is also the possibility to sleep there in the available rooms for a night of peace.

I didn't try the hotel, but fortunately I tried the fantastic restaurant again after too long a time.
Catering in the Alta Langa requires infinite passion and great tenacity. Today, thanks to these courageous and far-sighted dreamers, tourism has arrived, travelers seeking quality, uncontaminated landscapes, tranquility, hospitality, unique typical products. After the first Swiss and Dutch were fascinated by the stone houses, the terraces, the Marin wind that comes from nearby Liguria, today there are many who love these places. Bergolo, thanks to heroic mayors who have consistently kept the historic core intact and taught locals and tourists a taste for beauty and cleanliness, to conserve and keep intact the beautiful stone buildings amidst the flowers and pastures, is undoubtedly one of the most attractive and livable villages of all the magical Alta Langa. And a stop at Bunet is worth the trip. Emilio welcomes you in the treasure chest built little by little with taste and class research in architecture and furnishings. Sober lines, the right balance of pieces of furniture from the past, the stone used in moderation even inside, the natural arch and the spaces to admire the unique landscape. The food is dreamlike, carefully prepared dishes, right times, high class wines... We enjoyed a fresh appetizer with melon combined with a Langhe version of ham, a light and appetizing dish of stuffed courgettes, a classic for hot summer days, followed by a fantastic first course of strictly homemade pasta using the fret, a rediscovery of ancient traditions, with a summery sauce of great balance and flavor. Reluctantly we gave up the large trolley of strictly artisanal and local cheeses, emblem of the restaurant and the territory and we opted for a dream dessert all accompanied by the wines of Angelo Ferrio, the legendary CaRossa di Canale, the Arneis Merica 2023 with its beautiful minerality and the elegant Audinaggio Valmaggiore 2020, the cru par excellence of the Nebbiolo del Roero. A meal that will remain in your mind for a long time, for the quality, the beautiful and cheerful company and the great quality of the food. Super recommended. We will definitely be back very soon. Very welcoming family-run hotel. Emilio and Janhet very kind and helpful. The cuisine is fantastic. Everything made by them. The bread is superb made with love by Janhet. Definitely try it

We stayed in Bergolo, a small town with few souls, we stayed at the hotel restaurant I Bunet, an experience 👍 had a wonderful dinner with a fantastic view, if you pass by it's worth a stop 👍👍👍

Il Bunet fonde....la cucina piemontese classica...con la ricerca di accostamenti nuovi e decisamente positivi al palato....

Immersa nella langa della nocciola in un borghetto di poche anime, nessuno si aspetterebbe di trovare questo ristorante che è veramente una chicca. Il padrone di casa Emilio ti fa sentire subito il benvenuto. La cucina rispetta i piatti della tradizione locale ma con ricerca per un gusto che ti soddisfa.
Ottimo il risotto, il controfiletto e lo stinco di vitello. Anche la ruota dei formaggi è da provare. Sul vino non c'è bisogno di scrivere nulla, visto la zona ogni scelta è quella giusta
