Food and service are above average and those who knew the "old" Passatore know perfectly well what the quality is.

The food and service in overall good. However watch out what you get and ask prices, as it's been the second time now, that they are using tricks to make you pay more. The first time, they charged me an antispasto for the price of the primo.
Yesterday, I asked for five oysters and they served me four for the price of five. At the moment of paying they just gave me the bill with the total (75EUR) and not with the price of each item. When I asked for it, they wrote the price items on a piece of paper (!!) and effectively they charged me 20EUR for four oysters (price per oyster is 4EUR). Their excuse for the missing oyster was that they served me a sea urchin, which I didn't ask for and furthermore was empty. Generally I felt ripped off.
In summary really watch out for what exactly they charge you! Now for the second time I had a strong feeling of being taken the mickey of when leaving the restaurant. Despite being good food unfortunately I won't be going there anymore!
27/03/2024: Local historian from Gallarate specializing in fish. Elegant atmosphere even if a little dated. Good service. A la carte menu with a good choice of both raw and cooked dishes. Quality raw materials. Classic dishes with little innovation. Excellent wine list. Silo parking nearby with agreement. I recommend a visit.
24/03/2024: A welcoming place that immediately gives you the impression of being in a place where you are treated well. And it was like that. Staff attentive to every need, available to give advice on dishes and pairings. The raw material is excellent, particularly selected and the taste experience was truly pleasant. A delight for the palate. I will definitely go back.
