Today I went to eat Grassinopoli at Ristorante Alba. First of all, I must give heartfelt applause for the welcome and service of the two waitresses, who are also the chef's daughters, truly exceptional people as well as professionals. Then of course Grissinopoli is truly typical of the Piedmontese culinary tradition. Congratulations!

Dai Saletta

23/06/2025: Dai Saletta is a typical Piedmontese restaurant located in the elegant and quiet streets of the historic center of Turin, in Via Belfiore, 37. A CORNER OF AUTHENTIC PIEDMONTESE TRADITION: DAI SALETTA, IN THE HEART OF TURIN As soon as you cross the threshold, you are welcomed by a warm and familiar atmosphere, where dark wood and rustic details create a simple environment but full of personality. The staff, always courteous and prepared, makes you feel immediately at home. The real protagonist, however, is the menu. During my visits I had the pleasure of tasting dishes that tell the story of the area: from grandmother's agnolotti with braised meat sauce, to the tender and fragrant braised meat in Barolo, to the desserts that taste like pampering from times gone by, such as zabaglione cream with torcetti di Lanzo or Gianduja ice cream, a tribute to the famous Turin chocolate. Even those with special needs - like the little ones - can find simple and tasty dishes, such as a classic pasta with sauce. The drinks options are also interesting: the selection of local craft beers adds a modern and fresh touch to a completely traditional experience. Overall, Dai Saletta offers a journey into the authentic flavors of Piedmont, genuine and without "leaping forward", just like the land that inspired them. A TRIP TO TURIN ALSO PASSES THROUGH THE TABLE: Turin is much more than Savoy elegance and art museums: it is a true capital of taste. If you enjoyed this reading, I invite you to discover my other reviews, immersing yourself in the details that make Turin a city to discover.

Date N’Andi

17/07/2025: Best dining experience of my trip! I was a solo diner who spoke no Italian but the server went out of their way to kindly explain every single dish to me in English. Food was amazing. Will definitely come back if back in Torino :)
13/07/2025: A little gem in the center of Turin! A laboratory of culinary expertise and professional service, topped off by the smile and friendliness of the waiter. This little street food spot is absolutely worth seeking out, trying, and I might even add "waiting for"—if the tables are full—because every minute of waiting will be rewarded with the pleasure of taste and the senses!
