24/03/2024: There are places that immediately strike me. Which capture me and transport me into their identity.
Places imbued with love and passion; where there is a clear philosophy that extends into every aspect.
This is what I found in the reality I just discovered.
When I arrived, I found myself in a place full of greenery, surrounded by olive trees, cuddled by horses and sheep, directly above Lake Iseo and with an incredible view.
The building and the furnishings speak of history, of the work of the past, of life; all giving warmth and making the guest feel at ease.
The staff is attentive, helpful, prepared.
The wine list is a tribute to the territory, offering both niche choices and the most well-known wines.
And what about the menu?
Courses studied, genuine, abundant, of excellent quality and also elegant.
Genuine dishes, with great attention to the territory and respect for the raw materials.
All with a touch of elegance.
“La tesa”, in my humble opinion, respects the identity of the farmhouse, offering an attentive, elegant and competent service… all in a refined and relaxing location.
After lunch I asked if I could take a walk around their land where I could admire the lake, walk among their olive trees and cuddle horses and sheep.
In short... I believe I have discovered a genuine, delicate and valuable reality.
A place that made me emotional and, believe me, there are few places that strike me so much and that I believe are worth the journey and the time to experience them.
I would already like to go back with a good book, lie down on the deckchair admiring the lake and sipping a glass of wine... waiting for lunch.
