Ristorante Al Rustichello In Genova

Despite being a small place, you'll probably be stuck if it's full. There are so many tables and chairs in such a small space, so if you're claustrophobic, this isn't the place for you. From what I saw, there's one waitress for about 15 tables, and a man collecting the money. The potatoes on the plate arrived cold, and I'd say that wasn't the only table, but the waitress fixed it right away. The pasta with ragu was very good. The steak was very tender. The fried calamari, for almost 20 euros, seems like they served half a portion, very expensive for that small portion. The tiramisu was very frothy, without liqueur, but good. In short, I'd say the portions are small and expensive, but the ingredients are good. I'd give it an 8/10.

The simplicity, not banal, of the dishes allows you to enjoy a meal worthy of more renowned restaurants. The welcoming and intimate setting offers a warm and convivial atmosphere, typical of a respectable osteria. The wine cellar is also a plus for lovers of good wine, and Valerio, thanks to his experience and passion, will guide you in finding the right glass to further enhance a truly enjoyable experience. We loved the service and the delicious food. It's a shame we only spent one day in Genoa and didn't have time to go again, as that was our intention.

The restaurant is a gem! Fast and friendly service and a very cozy atmosphere. The food is AMAZING! We ordered trofie al pesto, steak, and octopus, and they have an excellent wine list! The owner, Valerio, was very friendly and welcoming! The restaurant is a must in Genoa! Absolutely, we'll go again.

Small restaurant in the pedestrian zone with very friendly staff. Reservations on weekends are recommended. The food tastes excellent and is of good quality. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.
