Ristorante al Coccio In Sansepolcro

The restaurant is very well-maintained and elegant, and the service is courteous and attentive. I found the cured meats for the appetizer excellent, and the Florentine steak tender and juicy. The menu features fresh, select seasonal ingredients. The wine list is lovely. If I'm passing through Sansepolcro, I'd gladly return!

Traveling with my wife, we made a quick stop at Al Coccio restaurant. Even though we hadn't booked, we were warmly welcomed into an elegant setting. We ordered two excellent first courses. Recommended.

Absolutely sublime! The atmosphere is classically furnished, and the table is exquisite. The dishes are unique: try the cappellacci with porcini mushrooms and truffles and the ravioli. The staff is kind and friendly, and there's an excellent wine list.

fantastic lunch, delicious food with excellent service

My wife and I happened upon San Sepolcro on our motorcycles on August 15th. A friend recommended it to me, but for one reason or another, I wasn't able to go, especially since it was always sold out! To make a long story short, I asked if there was room for two people (since I hadn't booked). I was immediately told that there was no room inside the (air-conditioned) venue, but that if we were lucky, we could sit on the outside deck in the shade! It was a hot day, but I must say it was quite well-ventilated. We shared a cold cuts and cheese appetizer and two first courses. We chose a bubbly from the excellent wine list (there's something for every taste and budget). Unfortunately, the bottle we chose wasn't served immediately because it needed to be refrigerated. However, we were offered an excellent alternative (even better) and, most importantly, were told the price wouldn't change (with apologies for the inconvenience). And last but not least, the coffee! (At least five different blends, with a coffee list and detailed descriptions of the blend and flavors). All at a price with no surprises! I recommend it! (But book first!!!)

A very pleasant place with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The entire menu strikes the perfect balance between local tradition and a touch of originality and culinary creativity. The Coccio appetizers are excellent, with very flavorful vegan agnolotti and ravioli, and tripe "just like grandma's." The wine pairings are excellent, and the dessert is also very good. The price is more than adequate for the quality of the ingredients and the service. Highly recommended.

We had dinner with a mixed Tuscan antipasto and a delicious Florentine steak to share. Attentive service and quality ingredients!

We had lunch during a visit to Sansepolcro. Looking for a restaurant that served gluten-free and lactose-free dishes because my daughter is following a particular diet. We were welcomed by Sara and Serena impeccably. We had two first courses and a tartare of Piedmontese scottona, all really delicious. Very characteristic and elegant place, we will definitely be back!
