Restaurant with ambitions, in the small square behind the church, tables almost exclusively outdoors, very popular and trendy.
Proposal of very interesting dishes on paper, unfortunately much less so on the palate.
Ravioli with thick dough and raw on the ends, huge and tasteless pork ribs, only bone and no meat. The wine list is basic, furthermore the bottles with the best quality/price ratio are not available without this being indicated in any way, not even with a pencil asterisk.
Avoid sweets, they have nothing to do with the description.
Very high prices also for Elba (first courses at 26 euros, starters 22 euros).

On holiday on Elba, we chose this restaurant located in a very pleasant square in Marciana Marina, a few tens of meters from the sea. Given the temperature suddenly dropped, we had the privilege of dining outdoors, alone. Everyone is very kind and very professional, from the owner to all the collaborators, who we believe (almost) all belong to the same family unit. Very good and refined starters and first courses, certainly different and superior to the usual dishes offered in other restaurants on Elba. (also always up to par) Adequate prices. We will be back. Kind and attentive staff. Fast service. Good quality food.
The only negative note was the tuna tartare which was a little too cold.
But the tuna tataki and pasta were gorgeous.
Value for money: from the island of Elba.
Paid €130 for 2 starters 2 dishes 1 water 1 bottle of wine (but all based on fish)

I had dinner in this restaurant which has tables in a small square in Marciana Marina, surrounded by many plants which give privacy to those at the table. I liked the dinner, I had some seafood tortelli seasoned with a squid ink sauce, some stuffed mussels and finally a Bavarian cream. The service was right with friendly staff, I would go back.
