Great for dinner. Superb atmosphere and super friendly.

The atmosphere is immediately welcoming; Gianni, smiling and attentive, immediately put us at ease. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the fried calamari and pizza are delicious. The crispy lasagna is unique and delicious.

I lived in Florence over 20 years ago and this restaurant is fantastic. Always recommend it to friends who come and whenever I come back, this is my first port of call. Gianni, the owner, has a great team. My personal favorite is the filet of beef. Perfection on a plate!

Came here for my first time with a group of 5 people. It was my first time in Italy, and this place was by far incredible. The staff, the food, the wine, everything was amazing! If you’re in Florence, you must go here!! Will be back again for sure!!

We had a very good dinner.... Pappardelle with lamb and almonds was very good, as was the quality of the meat.. I absolutely recommend it.

Last week was my second visit to Ristorante Accademia in 12 months, and I highly recommend! Last fall we visited and had many courses as part of a set menu with our group, which included rabbit. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this dish. Our visit last week saw the same friendly and kind staff and service as last year. We had just flown in from the U.S. so we were not very hungry, but I had the best risotto of my life with wildflower honey, sweet, savory, and prepared very well. I also got a roasted artichoke dish and some Chianti. All of our food was lovely, and the ambiance and atmosphere is nice. It is located in Piazza San Marco and has been a quick walk from our accommodation this year and last year. I recommend this place due to the delectable food and wonderful service.
