On holiday here from England and wanted some authentic Italian food, we couldn’t have made a better choice. The staff were so welcoming and the food was absolutely incredible, couldn’t recommend more.

Right next to Academica is the best restaurant in the area where you can eat before your visit. Pizzas are cooked in a stone oven and wood fire. This is what makes it delicious and inaccessible.

We saw that it had good reviews and since it is next to the Academia Galeria, we stopped by to try it and what a good decision!!
The waiters, Pietro (and another colleague whose name I'm sorry I can't remember), were very friendly. A wonderful atmosphere and attention of 10. The companion helped us in Spanish with our food, and Pietro recommended us to a tourist guide!!
We ate some Spaghetti with meatloaf and some Cavatelli with guanciale (photo of this) and it was TREMENDOUS. As a starter they gave us some rolls with oil, the oil was very good.
Without a doubt, I would return!!!

Ordered "Anchovy Pizza, Meatball Pasta", the waiter was very kind, but be careful about the appetite of Italians! The portions are large and the taste is on the salty side. It is best to share the food when ordering, otherwise you will need to take it out.
Only bottled water.
Excellent experience, food and courtesy at the top. To return.

Ci siamo fermati per caso a pranzo in uscita dal centro di Firenze. Ci siamo trovati piuttosto bene, servizio preciso e cortese, piatti ben presentati e di ottima qualità.
C’è ampia scelta di proposte della cucina toscana.
Prezzi medi, in linea con quelli della zona.

Una cálida bienvenida maravillosa le espera del personal encantador aquí. La comida era deliciosa, fuimos por el menú especial a 43 € cada uno que incluía una tabla de compartir antipasti, una selección de 2 platos de pasta, el más increíble filete florentino cocinado a la perfección servido con un montón de patatas asadas. El postre tiramisú que compartimos y el vino fueron complementos extra pero buenos para una comida perfecta. Pietro fue el camarero más encantador que trajo calidez, risas y energía positiva a nuestra experiencia. Sin duda volveremos, sin remordimientos.
