Great experience in a corner of Reggio Emilia that you don't expect. Very clean and elegant environment, excellent and very attentive service but without being pretentious. The menu is excellent, with proposals that follow the season, traditional dishes and innovation. The wine list is also very respectable. Highly recommended!!

Pranzo infrasettimanale. Abbiamo prenotato ma arriviamo in ritardo e sono quasi le 14. Nessun problema di sorta, il maitre ci fa accomodare e si prodiga anche per far spazio al passeggino della nostra piccola che si era addormentata. Questo non è cibo, ma sono le attenzioni che fanno la differenza. La proposta culinaria è molto interessante. Ottima la tartare di bue proposta come ripieno di peperone. Bella idea lo Spaghetto allo zafferano con trota salmonata. Il maitre ci guida e si intrattiene piacevolmente con noi. Siamo stati davvero bene! Torneremo per provare i doldo e il menù degustazione completamente a sorpresa e sempre diverso!

Elegant, quiet and very tidy place. The maitre Maurizio was truly professional and helpful, always attentive to our needs but never intrusive. We took characteristic dishes of the local cuisine, of excellent quality, with excellent raw materials and with a more than honest quality/price ratio. We would like to highly recommend it.

Locale perfetto, atmosfera calda ed intima al punto giusto. Menù degustazione ‘Dio te stradora’ che parte a razzo, ma va un po’ calando. Antipasto ottimo, brodo MAGISTRALE e COMMOVENTE, però poi abbiamo una faraona con poca salsa, appesantita da chips di patate; secondo me mancava una verdura, tanto come colore quanto come pulizia della bocca. Le chips un po’ fredde, che hanno perso la croccantezza forse perché il piatto era già pronto da un po’ Da rivedere leggermente la presentazione. Zuppa inglese sicuramente ottima, ma in bocca è mancato l’effetto wow. Naturalmente parliamo di un gran posto; le critiche son dovute allo standard che intendono raggiungere. Con qualche leggero aggiustamento potrebbero arrivarci senza problemi. Servizio eccezionale. Due menù e vino 141,50 euro (con sconto finale, apprezzabile). Tornerò.
