Ristorante A Casa Tua In Certaldo

This restaurant is located on Certaldo's main street. The wooden tables aren't very spacious. They don't offer main courses, just appetizers and a few traditional Tuscan first courses. We ordered a portion of mushroom pici, a portion of a cured meats appetizer (prosciutto and salami) with three types of cheese and coccoli, and a portion of tomato bruschetta. With water and a coffee, we spent €52.50. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful little restaurant with street-side tables. Delicious food. Every table and chair is different.

We had a delicious lunch (bruschetta and cheese dumplings) for a reasonable price (€5 and €12). It's a shame they charged a coperto fee for our 2-year-old who ate with us.

Stumbled in on a hot Wednesday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at some of the tastiest pasta dishes I have ever eaten. The visit was immortalized by signing their wall.

Honestly, for the price, we expected better. The portions are rather small, the menu is also limited, and the ingredients? Minimalist salads, without dressing, with very little garnish and stuff that tastes like industrial supermarket food...

This place is absolutely lovely, from the staff to the food to the location. They are very vegetarian and vegan friendly, and the staff are easy to communicate with in English. Loved this place and will surely visit again if I'm ever back here!

We had wanted to return here after a wonderful family visit in 2015. After a number of missed attempts while spending multiple weeks in Florence we finally took the quick train trip to Certaldo. No disappointment here. This is still at the top of our list for Tuscan dining and Certaldo Alto is charming. Everything is home made, the service is great and the Lardo Colonnata Bruschetta is a don’t miss.

En un viaje especial a la Toscana encontramos este restaurante por referencia de otro propietario del restaurante. Verificamos las reseñas de Trip advisor y encontramos que esta es una de las más valoradas en Certaldo. Estamos de acuerdo con otros en que esto fue especial. Éramos 5 "seniors" que viajan bastante y no se impresionan fácilmente. Sin embargo, desde la recepción acogedora hasta la ayuda que elegimos en el menú estábamos encantados. La mayor parte de lo que pedimos fue del chef especial, así que es difícil predecir lo que puede encontrarse, pero el desierto de pastel de manzana y salsa Chantilly con cerezas era digno de mención. Todas las verduras son ecológicas y los vinos están libres de conservantes. Si has leído hasta aquí mereces saber que esto está realmente "fuera de los caminos trillados. " Google Maps te llevará allí, pero debes recordar que Via di Tavolese es un largo camino y llegarás al destino y te alegrarás de haber hecho el viaje.
