Ristorane Pizzeria La Cereria In Pisa

Even though we're not used to dining after 8:00 PM, due to friends' needs, we booked for 9:00 PM. I was very skeptical because the restaurant was packed and all the staff were rushing around. I expected a very long dinner and tired staff... but I was pleasantly surprised. We were given our table at 9:00 PM sharp, not a single second of waiting. The service was fast and the staff were very courteous and always smiling, even though there were only two tables left in the dining room. The food was excellent. The mixed Tuscan antipasto was simply delicious, and the pizza was SPECTACULAR. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!!!!

If you are looking for a totally authentic family run restaurant with absolutely awesome pizza…..this is it:-) Tucked away down the backstreets of Pisa this a little gem. The people are lovely and pizza cooked traditionally over wood and the service was great! And fantastic value!

I was with a group of 30 people and we booked a special menu: a cured meats and cheese appetizer, two amazing first courses: tagliatelle with ragù and tortelli with cheese and truffle, mixed grill, side of potatoes and salad, tiramisu, unlimited wine, water, and coffee. All for just €40. The food arrived hot and quickly, with no delays between the first and second courses. They also always brought unlimited focaccia and bread. The atmosphere was very charming and welcoming, allowing us to mingle with others, even though there were many of us, without any problems, and the terrace was really useful for strolling between courses. Highly recommended!

La Cereria is a truly delightful pizzeria: the place is well-kept and welcoming both inside and out, with a lovely garden that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. 🍃 The staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which makes all the difference. The pizza is truly excellent: light and well-crafted dough, quality ingredients, and successful combinations. The only slightly unusual feature is the so-called "Pisan pizza," with buffalo mozzarella, parmesan, and anchovies: delicious, but not at all "Pisan" 😅. Regardless, it's still a super tasty choice! In short: highly recommended for the ambiance, the service, and above all for the truly worthy pizza. 🍕✨
